That might have been your debate but it wasnt mine......mine was whether Paul Scholes is the greatest English midfielder of all time ( i was originally responding to bulldougs claim of that )....i merely used Lampard,Gerrard,Gazza etc as examples.........ie,Scholes never scored as many goals as Lampard,didnt have the engine of Gerrard,couldnt match Gazza for skills.............but yes as a complete footballer he was better........ As a complete footballer of course he is......if you could choose one of them in your team you would choose Scholes without doubt...........he was brilliant at nothing but very good at everything,even his tackling,all his Utd colleagues say the same,he knew exactly what he was doing as regards tackling........but was he as good as George Best,Dennis Law,Bobby Charlton.....of course he wasnt,but just to be mentioned in the same breath is a fantastic achievement................... I can totally understand it......Wenger has become bigger than the club....he,s a football manager not an accountant he should be screaming out for money to spend on players yet he,s got it but wont spend it.......you gotta ask yourself......if Man Utd or Chelsea won nothing for 6 years would they keep the same manager,would they f**k.....with the new ground they should have been honest with their fans but they kept the old " we,re building a squad for the future " bullshit....well where is that squad............my pals a season ticket holder he says if the club had been honest from the start

Well apparently these leylandi things we have as a hedge grow around 3 foot a year if left untrimmed........but this little f****r i want rid of.... according to the tree surgeons calculations grows between 2 and 4 inches a year ! In all fairness he never got much change out of Wenger......one of the very few who have been head to head with Ferguson and come out on top for a stage back then..........they seem to have a healthy respect for each other these days which is good to see.

Wouldnt see foxes on Canary Wharf now....nor the Island theyd soon get chased off by the African security guards all round the gaff !.....saying that they did find a fox at the top of the newly built Heron Tower in Bishopsgate recently,it had been fed by the Poles from about the 4th floor up apparently !! Thanks for your opinions.....im still none the wiser but thanks anyway Well ive had a gardener round today who said pretty much what Christian said,reckons it will look fine for a few weeks then will start going brown from bottom to top......i also had a tree surgeon round who said it should be fine .......he took measurements,its just over 7 foot high,18 foot circumference and the stump is 20 inches circumference he said any bigger and it probably wouldnt survive.....turns out its a dwarf conifer he came out with some long scientific name reckons its worth a few bob as well......accordi

Got some plans for my gaff which involves a small conifer tree needing moving.......is this possible ?....... We have an old boy been coming round for years who does the gardening he reckons moving it will kill it,my ol womans driving me mad because she loves it .....Now i wouldnt normally stand for this shit but its knocking on a bit now and ive grown quite fond of it over the years ( the wife that is not the tree ) .......so dont really want to chop the f****r down if i can help it......so thought id try and get a second opinion just incase the old boy simply cant be arsed doing it !

Call me old fashioned but id feel a complete idiot if any dog i owned had to protect me from another man !.........To my way of thinking unless its a protection trained security dog or whatever why on earth would you want a dog to protect you..........either learn to protect yourself or get a dog designed for the purpose...... Let the workers work and the protectors protect....can a protection trained rottweiler catch the bunnies........let dogs play to their own strengths and you wont go far wrong,just my opinion like.

I couldnt answer about the other breeds but regards the apbt there seems to be this strange theory in recent years that game bred apbt,s are/were in some way great temperament trustworthy reliable dogs.......they wasnt and are not.......yes there are plenty that are,but theres also a fair few that are not.....i detest the idiots breeding this breed who have no place being around such dogs......but dont be fooled into thinking there were not just as many bad eggs if not more in years gone by......look at the ,s when the breed and sport was at its height.....a fair few top performance dogs were

Tyson always struggled with tall fighters,Bonecrusher Smith,Green,Tillis,Ribalta......were all far inferior fighters to Tyson but all gave him problems and took him the distance.....and they were all around 6 foot 4/5.......Klitchsko is a far better boxer than those with far better movement and a far better jab...and .he is also 3 or 4 inches even taller.........Personally i think it would have been an interested fight that would go either way.

For me it says more about the UFC as an organisation that it is willing to allow washed up out of shape ex boxers to mix it with their premier fighters without ever having fought before.....look at the farcical childrens comic type fiasco when they got the strongman lump Pudzianowski in to fight Tim Sylvia,an ex world champion !!
