What a daft thing to say.....firstly you dont wear a poppy for " pride " its worn to pay respects its not a nationalist thing.....secondly,professional sportsmen are not selected to represent their country based on how patriotic they are they are selected based on how good they are at their chosen sport....... Some people really do take this " lets slag footballers off " stuff a bit too far !

You Geordies are a funny bunch with your cockney this and cockney that .....the man saves your club, pumps millions into it.......you piss and moan that he sacks a cockney manager......replaces him with another cockney manager who takes you to third in the premiership...........then you start pissing and moaning again because he decides to rename his own club !!!......seems to me without cockneys youd be in a lot more trouble than you are now ( not that any of them are cockneys anyway )...... So he,s changed the name of your ground big deal......thats what happens when a business man from out

He,s learning his trade....you dont learn your trade in all out ring wars........he wouldnt have got this far if he couldnt dig deep......the blood and guts routine doesnt make for a long ring career if he,s well handled they will come much later.

I go along with this 100 %................im just sitting cheering on the micks right now......3 nil up -
Its a prize fight not a bodybuilding contest it dont matter how under developed the lads legs look if they do the job.....he came through a hard 12 round fight with Chisora, kept a decent pace and held his shape till the end.........that indicates his fitness is ok......he,s a young lad not fully mentally or physically developed yet who has done whats been asked of him so far.............how far he will go is anyones guess but he can certainly absorb a good shot and has enthusiasm in bundles........thats a great base to build on and his sheer size and unorthodox style will cause a lot of fighte

The truth is mate me you or any other tom dick or harry simply doesnt know......do i think he has,no i dont...... Firstly he hasnt put on 50 pounds he,s put on 40 since the age of 16 when he was a light flyweight ( 106 lb ) up to welterweight ( 147 lb )..............what nobody seems to realise is at 16 Floyd Mayweather won a golden gloves title at what weight.....yes you guessed it 106 lb !!....................nobody is asking if Mayweather has taken steroids.....infact Mayweather has fought at 154......thats a 48 lb jump to Paquiaos 41 lb. Its also worth keeping in mind Paquiao grew up dir

Plong do you know the PROVEN actual benefit of a 50mg ephedrine boost 1 hour before performance......its a 5-10 % increase.......the same could be got from caffeine or aspirin.....no different to several cups of coffee. It has a very mild amphetamine like effect on the nervous system which will increase awareness, concentration in relation to nerves/muscles etc...... Like i said so many folk believe what their mates tell them or think they are getting something they are not without ever really having an understanding of what they are using...........im not trying to preach to you mate i suppo

The thing is Plong a top fighter will usually have a top trainer, and a top trainer will usually have a lot of knowledge.......steroids themself are useless without serious knowledge behind them.....Im sure some fighters do use ephedrine, but not top level fighters with top level trainers......some fighters think they know best and go ahead and do things thats always happened.....but thats not the same as using gear in a planned way as part of the fight build up. Too many folk think steroids are the quick easy route or they use them to make up time when in reality they dont have the knowledge t

No way.....thats a mini cab ! -
It will be interesting to see what stance the Scottish and Welsh FA take with this, they are both playing this weekend as well........needless to say the Scots have rolled over already and bowed down to fifa.....the Welsh are currently sticking with the English but time will tell..... Shame as Brits all in the same boat we couldnt have all stood shoulder to shoulder

Saw the first few lines and didint bother reading the rest.......i knew what it was going to say.....thats how predictable these pricks are !

I believe The Thrilla in Manilla was the greatest sporting event since the beginning of time......and Joe Frazier took part in it... For that reason alone....may he rest in peace.

No trainer of any worth would allow his fighter to use ephedrine......the eca stack ( ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin ) is a great energy precursor, its basically a simple low grade meth.......and yes of course it burns fat......but what it can also do if used over long periods is cause heart trouble mainly mitral valve prolapse....it ups your blood pressure and raises your heartbeat........all things which can be easily picked up by a doc in any of your pre fight medicals. It sharpens reflexes, you hear better see more clearly and generally react quicker.......but if preparing for a big fight alone

Couldnt agree more.....them alloys belong on a 3 litre s Capri......dont like the bubble arches either but each to their own.................its the standard ones that fetch the money. My guess is that car started off life as a basic 1300 L. -
Ive got a feeling our FA are going to make a weak pissy little attempt at standing up to fifa by wearing the poppy on the training tops only.....not the actual playing shirts......it f****n annoys me the way our fa back down......our top players are constantly being told by the fa that they are " role models to youngsters ".......well if they are role models then the fa should get their shoulders back and their chin up and put the poppy on the shirt and wear it with pride.....they should use this as an opportunity to show what this country is about...........if these boys are supposed to be ro

Certainly right on that score....i quite like tattoos, but how someone could desecrate their body like that is beyond me i think that looks revolting...... But if your happy with it thats all that counts we all only have ourself to please

Joe was also a man who came from extreme poverty.......do you think he would have made anywhere near the wealth he did without Ali ?......anybody who ever fought Ali was grateful for the way he could sell a fight....Frazier got that 3 times..... To this day Frazier genuinely believes he won all 3 fights.....he also made a big thing of saying Ali would meet his maker first due to the beating Joe put on him ( his exact words were " taking it out of the judges hands and putting it in Gods hands " )......all said with a smile on the face. Nobody would wish death or even pain on him but ......sad

Good call that mate .....must admit i didnt give him much chance but thought he,d at least make it difficult for Groves..... I thought the kid Ricky Burns put on a great show as well he deserves his success.

Thats exactly what happens....the human body is still the most unbelievable piece of equipment even in todays hi tech world. Had a few injuries myself that when i look back i wonder how i took and accepted the pain......yet stubbing my toe on a door and im rolling around the floor like a big f****n girl ....still one of the most painful things i remember was an anaesthetic injection down the back of the thumb nail
-
I think theres a lot of truth in that......my theory is the sudden change in weather around this time of year, sudden different hours of light/dark that people have been used to driving in over the summer, are all a combination............couple all that with silly fireworks going off right left and centre that can catch the eye of motorists, which i believe might have been a factor in this crash................. Very sad anyway for all involved.
-
Frazier also said with a smile on his face on national american tv when Ali lit the olympic torch in 96 shaking like a leaf with parkinsons......." i did that to him "........... Ive always felt Frazier was one of the gamest fighters ive ever seen, mainly due to his come forward style...........but as a human being i think he,s always been a very bitter and poisonous man......that said.....its still a shame to see a legendary boxing figure like him in such a bad way.
-
Our Fa could really come to the front with this if they stood up and showed some bollocks...............wear it anyway then pay whatever fine fifa want to give us afterwards.....sometimes you just got to be true to yourself regardless of the penalty you still gain more than you lose.

Is that a proper rs500 ?.....if my memory serves me correct the pucker ones had the Tickford wings, fog lights in the boot etc.... They were my dream car as a lad.....when i became a grown up a few years ago i tried to buy one,an old boy was selling it after his son had died the year before it was the second to last one ever made....number 499 off the production line......there was only 52 moonstone blue ones ever built...... I made the big mistake of letting the ol boy know how desperate i was to buy the car !!.....made him what anyone would consider a very good offer.....but he took the pi
