Nobody said they " cant " do it Max thats not anyones decision to make.............like Stan said i,ll never watch it.....and im a massive boxing fan............ It would break my heart to see my daughter take even 2 minutes of the punishment myself or anyone else took.................so in my eyes if its not right for my daughter its not right for yours either.......................but then we dont have to like it folk will do whatever they want to do and thats how it should be.

Totally agree.............ive never met a man who himself has got in the ring who can hand on heart say they are ok with womens boxing.................for me its everything thats wrong with amateur boxing in general and thats not being disrespectful to the sport...... A boxing match should be like a story book....it should have a beginning a middle and an end..................only difference being you dont know how many pages the book has or where/how it will end.................Of all these fights we have seen in the Olympics has there even been 1 ko ?.............2 men know their intention

I did start to explain with a load of scientific bollocks but got completely bored myself after a few lines ....................suffice to say......a purebred black African will NEVER win a worlds strongest man contest.......same as a purebred white European will NEVER win the 100m...................but crosses of both have the potential to do great things between the extremes of each......as we are starting to see now,and will continue to see in generations to come...................... Myself i think its a can of worms that is open already and will never shut............Ive had a theory about races/sport for a number of years now that i think is gradually showing itself in the athletes we see today................... Its probably laughable to some.....but its my belief that eventually all of Great Britains best athletes will be half caste !!.......................And without doubt there are more and more " mixed race " athletes in GB vests competing and winning than ever before.......Gemili/Ennis etc .................. Do we expect the pure bred dogs to be the best hunt

We do agree.............its just like we,ve said before...............there is just such a vast difference between am and pro in every aspect it really is hard to compare the 2 as sports............be it in the ring or out............probably no other sport as so much of a difference between amateur and professional.

Whats that,perfect world politics ??? Gte......the term " pro " may well mean professional,ie....being paid....................................but in reality,very few " pro " boxers can actually live off the game...............take Rendall Munroe as an example......top level fighters dont work as bin men during the day for the love of picking up rubbish Its only a very small % of elite pro fighters who can live off the game of boxing.

And i thought i was an argumentative c**t Like i said,nobody could say the funding hasnt been a big help.......but i dont think you can buy will to win and character.....and without doubt our athletes have shown more than ive ever seen before........maybe Birds right maybe home support is a big advantage it is in every other sport........would we have won the world cup in 66 if we hadnt hosted it....who knows. Personally i think our success in these games has been a combination of everything funding,great preperation,home advantage and a basic great set of athletes.......obviously we do

Decided over the weekend my garden misses a bit of noise since the kids left home so fancy keeping a few Canaries for their lovely tones........i dont want a great big aviary so whats the smallest you could get away with and how many birds etc...... And can they live out all year round................ive seen these f****n great big wooden cages say the size of a single wardrobe but not sure if you would leave the birds in them all year round and i dont fancy having them indoors...............anyone got any thoughts ?

I think we have definately had the rub of the green decisions wise up to now.....but nobody can win through to a gold on luck alone so if any of them were not good enough they,ll get found out eventually.............personally i dont think the best all round fighter necesarily wins an amateur contest in a 1 off bout and thats why i dont particularly like it............but that dont mean you can bullshit your way through a competition the best fighter will usually win the gold over the entire tournament.

While nobody could say the funding hasnt made a difference in the preparation our lads and lasses have put in....and every other benefit extra finances make.................i dont think our athletes sheer guts and will to win should be underestimated either and you just cant buy that.......ive noticed in many of these events the British athletes while maybe on the same level as many of the opposition talent/skill wise....we just look like we want it that bit more,and i think thats so refreshing to see you cant put a price on guts and character and our competetive instinct and sheer attitude ov

Absolutely spot on Johnnyboy I actually feel a bit sorry for him its obvious he,s trying to get people to like him and i think thats a shame.................so he,s a quiet lad who dont come across as bubbly and joyful in interviews....so what.....its a shame that top athletes in this country feel like they have to change their personality to gain support its not f****n x factor,big brother or any of them other nauseating popularity shows its top level sport ! Again thats a beauty of sport.......................be it shoulder to shoulder on a football terrace,be it an opponent in competition or be it a team mate.....sport is the only place ive ever just seen " a man "....and not black or white............probably not a nice trait to admit to but again sport brings out the best in us all in my opinion

She could of lost the final race by 13 seconds and still took gold...........................but classy lady as she is she wanted to finish the job in style................ Absolutely right...............must admit as ive watched stadiums built and the temperature rise in general down here over the last few years as regards the Olympics i was fearful it would be a bit of a wash out what with folk saying its just for London..............but i think its been brilliant theres accents round these parts from all over Britain at the moment and its a great feeling,the immigrants are quietly hiding away while true British people engage in a great tradition thats brought the nation together..........sport.................if its done that for the Olympics think what it cou
