Quite scarey reading this thread and realising just how many folk who encourage their dog to use their teeth.............yet are so ignorant in what to do when it go,s tits up !
-
If he plays tomorrow he,ll score on his debut mark my words... i got a good feeling about him.....I think he,s going to enjoy the direct way we play these days i have to say im no fan of Allardyce but if your going to set teams up the way he does then Matt Jarvis and Carroll could be a blindin combination so fair do,s..... Gonna be a good game tomorrow.....little Kevin Mitchell out on the pitch first as well............gotta say Carrol must get rid of that ponytail though you cant be walking round the east end like that !
-
Whats with the " John Terry look " socks ....................thats the boy lead with the elbow.............good pics
-
He,ll do much better at the Hammers than he did at Liverpool..................................Liverpool try to play football we dont bother with all that bollocks anymore.......gain possession, smack it up to the big fella..................hope for ricochets and deflections.........thats the new " West Ham way "
-
I wont start jumping round the room till its done and dusted...............never mind " The Academy of Football "..................if we,re stuck with ol wam bam whack it Sam for the season then who better to smack a long ball up to than Carrol.....great stuff.

A fox hunt isn't fair leveller but that's a different debate

Did you try the " menacing violence " route ? ....worked for me ...............No,i agree with what your saying Redcharge i had enough trouble trying to get a foot in the door so to speak.... just lucky i have such good looks and charismatic charm ......but i can imagine how tough some spotty 16 year old herbert might find it......no matter how genuine they are. -
Come on my son......i,ll run my fingers through your hair.....read you bedtime stories....anything you like just sign on the dotted line................. 24 hours to plead with Andy Carrol to come down to East London..................come on boy you know you want to :boogy:
-
Your guess is as good as mine Millet........the lad said its an Amstaff i just presumed he knew that for fact
-
I was around bulldogs a lot of years.........the only time i ever got bitten breaking up 2 dogs was a doberman and a west highland white terrier f****n things were all teeth spit and slobber !
-
Think you handled it ok by the sound of it...............i think demanding the dog be muzzled is a bit strong as long as the dogs under complete control and on a lead thats enough.........................after all, some dogs just gotta learn the hard way
-
That situation would never happen.....so its a pointless question. " Grassing on a dog is different to a human " ....well admittedly the dog probably wouldnt understand the act of " grassing ".......but the owner would. Im not going to debate the rights and wrongs of selling out on your fellow man its something some folk can do and some folk cant.....personally i cant do it regardless.
-
Well now you come to mention it no i never owned a bulldog that could " free run " as good as that........shit your right they wasnt worth feeding if they couldnt " free run "
-
Dont matter what the dogs are.....in my opinion theres far more risk of a person being bitten by 2 collies or labradors than 2 bulldogs....... 2 bulldogs are intensely focused on each other not whats going on around them, hence they are easier to seperate without getting nailed.
-
Someof the replies here are hilarious....id like to see some of you lads splitting up dogs that actually meant it !!......Hold it upside down, kick it in the balls, spray their face Without a break stick the first thing you want to be doing is controlling the dog thats being attacked not the dog doing the attacking your more likely to be bitten by the dog that doesnt already have a mouthful !......Once the dogs tied up or whatever get the attacking dogs back between your legs a hand through the collar twist and choke him off......30 seconds tops and the dog will either let go or pass out.
-
Your a scrap man am i right ?......If i reported you for fly tipping does that not make me a grass/snitch ?...........or can you only grass if its something you dont like !
-
Apology accepted,im not normally that petty to check back i just thought i must be going mad if i didnt remember commenting You say a kid could of been hurt......a kid could get hurt crossing the road but we dont ban driving......no i dont think the risk factor go,s up whatsoever.....tell me Graham, does the risk factor go up if your dog attacks a rabbit or a fox ?...................or only a dog.
-
" Amstaff not far off a pit ".....................The fact we are sitting calling a bull terrier type dog " awesome " because it can jump up and down walls i think suggests that yes they are very very far off from a " pit " as you call it.

I might be wrong but didnt Rooney/Walcott/Owen all debut for England at 17 or 18.....think Gerrard was 20 or 21 As Newkid said is it any wonder a player in their mid 20,s starts getting plagued with injuries when they are playing at the very highest level of the game before their body has even had time to mature.
-
We,ve had them strapped up in straight jackets, muzzled and neutered for the last 20 years while the Ukranians have had them bouncing around the streets
-
Im of the opinion that a lot of these players who show great talent real young in England can often have a shorter lifespan at the very highest level.....players like Rooney,Michael Owen,Theo Walcott hit such a peak so young it becomes hard to maintain and improve as much as we expect them to......abroad where the game is slower young players are not burnt out by their mid 20,s..........hopefully Rooney still has more to come but it wouldnt surprise me if we,ve already seen the best of him.
-
Whats that from the Beano ?..............dont tell me the dog didnt know the difference between a child and a dog !
-
And also Graham.....this dead bird thing and your quote above......i believe your referring to the " do i phone the police " thread a while back......an 8 page thread which you posted around 25 posts on....................and I DIDNT MAKE 1 SINGLE COMMENT !!........maybe best remembering who you spoke to before saying something like that
-
Why is it " very very silly "....according to your exact words......" anything can happen with animals "................so whats the difference whether its first had a tear up with another dog, what possible reason is there to think that dog is more likely to attack a child ?......................ive not played with words ive quoted your EXACT sentances......if you cant answer thats fine but dont play on like im changing what your saying.
-
Couldnt agree more...................i just dont see the connection between a dog attacking another dog to a dog attacking a child its like saying a dog that attacks a fox or rabbit is more likely to attack a child, its just ludicrous
