Floyd missed that rivalry with PacMan. Now Manny is looking towards the end of his career and coming off two losses I doubt we'll ever see it now. I think it would of been a bit of a manufactured rivalry really......not to take away from Paquiaos achievements through the weights but had they met i think Mayweather would of dealt with him quite comfortably. Ive always been of the opinion that to become an iconic name in the sport you have to have an iconic opponent......The Duran/Leonard/Hagler/Hearns era was freakish in that 4 iconic all time greats were plying their trade at the same time in the same weight divisions........Would Frazier be an icon of the sport without Ali......Benn without Eubank etc etc............I believe Floyd Mayweather is every bit as good as the names mentioned but he hasnt had " a rivalry ".....so will probably not go do down as a ring legend we talk about with the same enthusiasm we talk about Hagler/Hearns etc. I

Boyz N The Hood, very good film as far as black crime films go. If you enjoyed that, try Menace II Society. I felt it was a touch grittier than BNTH and it's more realistic in my opinion.But still both very good films. I'll look out for it mate, cheers. I like the gritty film especially British ones. A good wee british film worth a deck is based in greenock I think called sweet sixteen. Boyz N tha hood and Menace II society both Over the top black bullshit IMO. Quite possibly i cant remember now.....i might be wrong but i think Sibson was the only man to ever stop Minter in all his losses,he had a good chin he just opened up too easy. Hagler would have to be in any top 10 all time greats list one of the only fighters i ever saw who just had no weakness to his game at all.

I thought it would be as easy as looking at a dog breed for someone who knew what they was looking at......................think i,ll just tell him Bob & Mavis after all save arguments ! Basically the ol boy had died and the son had been coming over looking after the animals so to speed things up my mate said he would take them on they are in decent pens etc.......would just be nice to know what they are thats all.

Just struck me odd a metal yard in Peckham sponsoring a boxing event in Liverpool ..................Think your being a bit harsh mate they are decent level fighters,heavyweight boxing is like that at times.

God rest his soul,James was a good fighter......i cant remember exactly but i think he was probably taller than both Fury or Price......not that it matters your right he wouldnt of troubled the Klitchkos.....i only mentioned those 2 because of their height....but in fairness i think even the likes of Bent,Danny Williams even Herbie Hide would all have been on par with Price/Fury. For me the Klitchkos would beat both our big 2 they are very good at keeping things simple,keeping fights long and utilising their assets........something our 2 havent quite mastered yet id give Fury more of a chance

Totaly agree' I couldnt believe how lean he looked, Almost drawn in. Looked like he could of easily carried another 3-4 kilo and still looked in shape ? Ask any conditioner be it conditioning human or animal the hardest part is finding a fighters best weight........and thats something that takes a real experienced eye......an old friend of mine has conditioned fighters from 3 round amateurs right up to pro world champions his ability to spot a fighters best weight is unbelievable ive seen lads arrive with him as welterweights that in his hands were light welters or middleweights that he had

Floyd i dont know how old you are.....but thats just silly talk..........in my opinion both these 2 boys Price and Fury in any other era apart from this one would be domestic level fighters......they put me in mind of fighters like James Oyebola or Henry Aki from a few years back good fighters but certainly not world class.........only that todays era is the worst in heavyweight history are we getting all confident about a British heavyweight champion..........personally i couldnt care less which one of them picks up a title hopefully they both do and make the most of the era we are currently

Cant beat York Hall......still a proper old school boxing venue where you,ll find knowledgable silent crowds as opposed to rowdy kids out for a football style sing song...................
