Are we to believe then that his plans were never discussed with Fergie ?......that he got his foot in the door and then started chopping and changing with no input from Fergie at all ?.............I think Fergie fell into this " working class Glasgow roots " stuff and saw Moyes as a re - run of himself..........Fergie was as big as the club itself hence why they took his word to the bank.....and he was wrong !..........im just curious as to whether that would leave a stain on his reputation in fans eyes.

Nothing to do with him ......He was the " chosen one " wasnt he ?.......Surely thats got to be the biggest decision Fergie ever got wrong in his whole Utd career. No i cant see that...if your mind wanders in a boxing ring you are likely to get put on your arse......snooker you have a lot more time to think,i would imagine its a lot harder for a snooker player to stay focused than a fighter.

I agree with that Johnny i think sometimes you get sportsmen who are so far infront of their opponents they actually become victims of their own brilliance......Ronnie as a good example i think his mind slips off track simply because he finds the game so easy....its almost as though he looks for something else interesting to focus on ( all the emotional bollocks ) even during a game sometimes.......its almost unfair that somebody can be that good at their sport to be able to do that where most of us give it our all and its still not enough.....sportsmen that gifted will often be called arroga

Your missing my point mate........" you cannot put in what nature left out ".....................a good coach/trainer will get the best out of whatever qualities a sportsman has to offer..........he cant create new ones ............. Far as im concerned these players have to stand up once in a while and take their failings on the chin.......as an example,no manager can take a penalty.

In that case why not stick with what he,s got ?............Personally i think far too much emphasis these days is put on the managers.......yes they make a big difference at the very highest level but good footballers are good footballers same as good fighters are good fighters,cricketers or any other sport...................ultimately its the man in the battle who decides victory or defeat.

I think its a combination of things..............its all well and good saying they won the league by 11 points and what a great team they were......well why do they need to spend 200 mill if they already have the premier league winning side ?......If its all Moyes and he just cant get good players to play then why throw 200 mill down the toilet on more good players he cant get to play.

I think that 11 points must of flattered Fegie he could never of seen that coming......the fact that the top sides last year were nowhere near as good as they are this year coupled with the fact Fergie knew the Utd side was coming to an end plus the changes staff wise.....i dont think it should be a big surprise Utd have had the season they have had..............the big question now is how much faith did/do they really have in Moyes.

If he stuck to what he knows he,d be fine.......but when he starts venturing out into things that dont concern him like the issuing of pro licenses based on personal grudges......thats not on,he,s a dogooder out to clean up the sport,like boxing was ever clean !.......Then again when you work for a limited company rather than a sports commision you do what your told i guess.....but he,s still a snake !
