Im not going to start getting all territorial mate i was just saying id like to see him back in that section.....like i say ive no idea what his issues are.

Havent a clue what his issues are but the Cage & Aviary section of this forum hasnt been the same since Millet left he gave me and probably many others some good advice it would be good to see him back.

I've got a lot of interests and a curious mind, that's all, I no more want to be a soldier than I want to be a naturalist, historian, politician or astrophysicist. Some things get my interest. I'm reading Darwin now for instance. I'm a geek, that's well established, I don't hide that. LOL I don't play f***ing airsoft at the weekends! Takes all sorts i guess ....your brain must be bursting out of your cannister !!

Course.....theres a lovely big dining table.....room for 10 people but theres only 9 of us that day......room for a small one ? In all honesty we,ll more than likely all need a bit of a hug that day as we,ll all be sobbing our little hearts out !

That used to be my thoughts when we first used to discuss it Wilf........im an affectionate chap to lifelong friends so id be exactly the same as you was.......but the big topic of argument would come when he told me they would lay and cuddle !!.......these are his words not mine......" not for any kind of sexual feeling whatsoever....but purely for a sense of closeness to another human being....loneliness,comfort,warmth,security etc with another person you care for. I just think anything less than 100% commitment isnt sport its making a statement.....which is all last night really was,a statement................but these are the times we live in.......i wish i hadnt gone to be honest.... ive not often felt cheated as a spectator but i did last night.

Its not a case of headless chickens holding guns that would worry me its the headless chickens who could possibly end up holding those guns.....i mean where would the line be drawn here in terms of numbers.....could anyone sufficiently qualified take to the streets with a gun ?....we could end up with more people carrying than not,where does that end.....a duel at 10 paces ?......or are we to assume that these licence holders are simply impeccable human beings who deal with any and every situation peacefully,even between each other.......while it all sounds fine and dandy in your average tree

As regards the original question it makes me wonder if 2 men can be classed as queers if they never have sex ?.....ive had some heated debates with a childhood friend of mine who did over 20 years behind the door....he will describe it as a need for a close human relationship as regards emotions,with absolutely no requirement for sexual contact while cut off from regular life/relationships for so long.............i just call him at least half a bender ! Can 2 men have a loving caring relationship yet have absolutely no physical attraction.....im not convinced.....but then i havent done 20

The game shouldnt of been played simple as that......there was a horrible atmosphere in and out of the ground,we all like to have a laugh and a giggle at the footie but you was almost looking around for forgiveness every time you laughed......and seeing armed police outside the ground was like being back at Italia 90 ! Nice result but in a nothing game.

We was always told that the sign of a truly great competitor was when all of the opposition know what you are going to do..........and you do it anyway ! Always a shame to lose the icons of sport so young......sometimes the brightest lights shine the shortest time.......very sad.

Top paragraph.......ok so who is in a more terrifying situation.......a careful selected and expertly trained soldier or an everyday Joe who passed a training course ?......we,re going round in circles here but im of the opinion you cant put in what nature left out,you clearly think instinct can be trained into people. Bottom paragraph.....you,ve changed the question,nobody has been assaulted one person was waving a bat in a threatening manner the other was " looking " in a threatening manner who is the more dangerous threat ( who does he pull his gun on ) Yes these are simplified examples....

Gnash Thats been illegal since 2010, you cant refuse to serve them even in your own private business, just yesterday a woman from Bicester was arrested for putting a note on facebook saying she would refuse to serve muslims and that it was time to put her country 1st LIke i say i wouldnt last 5 minutes......just as well we still have freedom of speech eh !

Without a shadow of a doubt you are correct. If I'm shopping on the high-street and an Islamic hit squad start shooting the place up I want a fully tooled up SAS squadron to immediately kick the doors in and do what they do best. They're the best in the world and I want nothing short of that. In France at that rock concert, as soon as the French counter terror team got on the scene they went in and ended things like well honed professionals, but 89 are still in the morgue... Fact is they're not always around the corner for us, the police aren't always around to protect us from nasty people. T

I get what your saying i just tend to believe some folk are born to do stuff and have a natural talent/ability be that physical or mental. With dedication and perseverance id like to think i could bring myself up to any good soldiers level of shooting.....but with some c**t throwing hand grenades at me i,ll leave my firearm wherever i find it and be on my toes double lively in boots full of my own shit and piss.......now i dont care if your Mike Tyson or King Kong i,ll have a stand up with anyone but every man should know his limitations and the nature of the subject of guns would lead me

For arguments sake,say the civilians were expected to pass a course much harder in terms of safety and marksmanship than soldiers/police,would they be qualified enough for you then? If they were selected by people we pay and trust to select people and trained to the highest standard i would put my trust in said people yes of course. What i couldnt do is just presume that anyone who,s a good shot and passed a test has the correct experience and emotional/mental approach to be carrying a gun around with them
