I thought if ever a draw was likely that was it although id of slightly leaned towards Taylor on pure desire alone....Ricky Burns is a smashing lad but i think he,s done now....Benns boy,not for me i think if he can nick a British title he will have done well....Chisora is certainly having a promising twilight to his career he,s looking stronger than ever.

Are you the person being referred to as Stewie ?....good luck to you squire your doing great and best of luck along the way.....i cant imagine the struggle myself but have seen it up close so can understand what your saying......if its not rude to ask have you tried AA ?.....i watched my mate do " The Chair " for the first time and was so proud of where he has got to....again i dont know enough to start giving out advice but from what ive seen it really is a positive,good natured and knowledgeable organisation. That said....i still dont think you really understand what depression is ?

Probably....i was really surprised how organised it all is i actually went with 1 mate its a group called Al Anon which is for friends/family of alcoholics i was surprised how quick they encourage recovering alcoholics to return help it really helped my mate to know he was giving back,i honestly think it helped his sobriety he,s 4 or 5 years down the line now and doing great,from what ive seen of it Alcoholics Anonymous is the saving grace for a huge number of people,fantastic organisation.

Im not knocking the chap Stewie as everyones different but the couple of recovering alcoholics ive known closely through our lives both go out of their way to get involved in others battles with the problem.....one is chairman of a local AA group the other spends a few evenings every week " on call " at the same meeting....turning their back or distancing themself from people who came from where they came from wouldnt enter their mind they are grateful for the help they got and want to give that back.....again,not knocking the chap on here maybe they are a little further along the line of reco

Few interesting little links thanks Sid. An old boy once said to me years ago that once a dog has proved himself worthy of breeding thats the time to pick up his pedigree,and ONLY then. Dogs i had years ago the pedigree meant everything but a little terrier like this im not too fussed to be honest.

I always tread carefully on this subject as i dont really have strong views either way but what i always struggle with is the time thing....people call abortion murder at a certain point but surely to kill someone they have to be alive first....i know all the development stages and legal jargon mean this and that i just cant get my nut round calling it murder......i can see valid points on both sides and maybe its ok sometimes to just say " i dont know ".....but 28 weeks certainly dont seem right my pals son was born at 30 weeks....6 weeks in special care and he was right as rain grew up a sma

Some really silly posts on such a serious subject i dont know why people need to have an opinion on things they simply dont understand.....im certainly no expert on the subject and have thankfully never suffered with it,but a very good friend of mine from childhood has suffered with it on and off all his life....his worst bout of it was about 15 years ago and for a whole 2 year period i would go round and he would just be sitting in a chair barely able to look up and acknowledge me,this was a proper life and soul of the party type of lad it really upset me that i just couldnt do anything for h

Yep done,im getting a dab hand with the ol Catch Up tv ! Really enjoying it i felt sorry for the geezer who had to go home with dodgy guts but what a fuss that treacle made over a little nick on her hand !......i think they could ease up on all the over emotional family stuff but thats Yanks i spose. Im binge watching this other series Mountain Man as well thats good.

Thats what i meant mate they were mostly just a mish mash of pet names scribbled down the 4th and 5th generation wasnt even complete theres a few prefixes Remlap is one,Saxon is another....doesnt mean much to me i wouldnt even be 100% sure its all kosher.....like i say its mostly a pal/companion/outdoor type dog so breeding wasnt particularly important and he,ll never be bred regardless....thankyou mate will do

Not at the moment mate im waiting on a Gsp but its a bit complicated.....ive had a 20 odd year break from keeping dogs and only ever had bulldogs before,much as i respect them i suppose i did look at them more as machines instead of dogs....having been reading about hunting dogs on here for years and occasionally getting out with a few folk local im finding the whole thing of bonding with a dog and sussing out his personality really rewarding....right time right place kind of thing. I was putting petrol in the other day and felt something wet on my leg !....something had f****d up in the petrol tank and it was spitting fuel back out and covered one of my brand new boots i now have 1 brown and 1 black !.....its dried out and not changed colour any ideas how to get them back to normal ? i love these boots its really depressed me ?
