I havent looked at the records for a long time but a 700lb raw deadlift at 13 stone if a legit lift is either a British record or very close to it

Its disrespectful to English football and English fans we all piss and moan about how commercialised the game has gone and how its not as good as back in our day but then give Klopp a pass because he,s a smashing fella ! I hope they're not charging spectators....imagine going to watch your favourite pop group live and they roll out a bunch of kids you've never heard of. Personally i think clubs should be punished if they dont try their very best to win every game they play....a manager not even going to his own clubs game is just arrogant beyond belief in my opinion.

Have to say though ive seen plenty of phenomenal gym lifts from chaps whos strength had no relation to their power its like the torque and horse power of an engine Shaw/Bjornson are the huge trucks with massive torque Ahola/Pudzianowski were the high bhp sports cars.......give me explosive power over core strength all day long.

Ive been around Ayr a little bit does that count,it was nice enough but still not as nice as Cornwall.....i dont go a bundle on empty beaches myself i like to hear people having fun,kids splashing about,scantily clad ladies strolling around.....impressionable childhood memories of day trips to Canvey Island maybe ?

Middlesborough is generally recognised by away football fans as just about the most foul and dreary places you go to over a season.....its another reason for us to dread relegation.

Ive always said those strongman events,particularly the static lifts.....should be measured on a X bodyweight basis,similarly to how the old dog weight pulling competitions used to. A 19 stone man pulling a 20 ton truck is showing far more strength and power than a 30 stone man pulling a 21 ton truck....stands to reason dont it.

I agree that competition was much better back then i cant even be arsed to watch it anymore........too much bodyweight strength these days i think the likes of Sigmarson,Magnuson,Pudzianowski etc were far stronger human beings than these giants today....for me a 19 stone Jouko Ahola had a far stronger structure than a 30 stone Shaw or Bjornson

Its funny you say that as it can work both ways me and a mate took our wives for a wknd in a lovely little hotel in a place called Stiffkey in Norfolk a few months back,really nice little country place,beautiful scenery and surroundings.....we have a meal in a little village pub and the governor and staff clock our accents and start coming out with all this apples and pears carry on,swearing away like troopers i had to pull the gaffer aside and tell him to mind their manners.......me... a rough cockney bloke off the estates telling this lord of the manor type to watch his manners ? Its so

Probably....but theres still loads of markets Petticoat Lane is still thriving as are Brick Lane,Ridley Rd,Walthamstow and many others,different cultures these days but what do you expect... but its like every other thing they are trying to strip us of...i know im like a broken record but our culture and traditions are being taken from us... market spiel before lunchtime in the boozer is just one more tradition to take away from the white Englishman in England.

The reality of any capital city is if you are one of lifes quiet,timid reserved types you are not going to attract gregarious good natured people and your probably going to come away thinking folk are unfriendly.........if on the other hand you are a confident,outgoing sociable person with a little bit about you your going to come away with an altogether better experience.......like anything in life you get out what you put in its not rocket science.
