    the collie blood that is based in my collie x was a good strong cattle working dog that was wicklow collie x border collie but to tell you truth i could tell you the difference between the wicklow and border collie

    what about the ligers (lion x tiger) they are both feline but the offspring cant breed(i think)but they grow much bigger than either parent and that is classed as hybrid vigour

    Good luck with the show lads im gona try and make it up from Dublin but if i can't the best of luck with it and hope it goes well ,no matter what you wont be able to please everyone and someone will always throw a spanner in the works

    most of the time on the slip but on my on in certain places with my old collie/greyhound i leave him at heal but the wheaten xs are all ways on the slip

    just keep whippets against whippets and have someone with a bit of balls that can tell the differance between a whippet and a lurcher or if you want to call it a non ped whippet that they have not got a whippet and it cant race against whippets

    heard some good storys about that dog timmy recons he never seen a dog like him to catch a fox He's spot on Alan never lets me down just sicken's to see em getting on and slowing down a bit but he still has the brain which he seem's to use a lot more now

    Nice 1 Scent most people at the shows know me dogs work and i think that is probably why they do alright at the shows but as i said before i go to most of the shows during the summer but it's only a bit of crac to past the summer months and i have met a good few decent lads at them that i have gone out for a lamp or a dig with during me favorite time of the year which is the hunting season ,some people get the winter blues i get the fcuking summer blues but back at it now and i im happy as Larry had a decent nights lamping last night even with a full moon but the chest freezer is starting to f

    This dog has no bother doing them single handed and his full sister i had up until a couple of years ago but had to be pts due to cancer had no problems doing them single handed he is 9 now and is still doing on the lamp and no bother drawing them when digging

    I will be going out tonight for a lamp as the winds are the best we will probably get all season but there is a full moon up but which would be the best a pitch black calm night or a breezy moon lit night but i think if a strong winds blowing the lamp should be glowing

    lol mate i cant sit here all nite reading sob stories i have have a country estate to poach tonite while the owners are out at the pub.going to try and get the kids a brown and white one lol they might be a bit pissed of in the morning when its as stiff as a board and wont hop around the garden llf i'd of been out meself last night but i was'nt aload just incase i got arested and couldn't make the babies christening today and the poxy neighbours won't get any more pets they keep losing them

    my bitch does work i dont know about the other 2 but they are a credit to their owners they are 2 fine dogs but it is always hard for a bitch to compete against dogs at these shows and saying that she was the only bitch that showed for the 5 nations at Birr and she got reserve so happy days and good luck to everyone this season because hunting is what it is all about

    well my bitch that was in the 32 counties lurcher show was out working last night and i am just about to get ready to bring her out with a couple of my terriers for a dig now but first i have a few trophies to polish

    If the the overall dog had already qualified then the reserve goes through it was an open show so there was no restrictions my bitch had qualified at 5 shows but from the the 1st one she qualified in the reserve went through from then on
