  1. Margaret i did'nt have any part in running the show i just put on here for them because the lads had no access to the internet with Paddy recently moving and Timmy i think he's just lazy LOL so i cant take any credit for but i will pass on your good wish's to the lads
  2. Kevin ,Steve done a great job at your show 1 of the best i've came across and the whippet judge in Birr last year was very good
  3. Great show Graham, paddy just rang me and informed me that the sum of 1,800 euro was raised, well done lads. thats great the lads are starting to get the knack of this show thing so i'd say they will bring this show to be 1 of the best in the country in the next few years, they only miss hap was the lure breaking but it did'nt damping the mood
  4. and this bitch is ready to go now showing plenty of interest
  5. hope to get a couple of digs for this bitch at the end of the season
  6. Fairplay to Strong Stuff for sending over a smashing collar for the winner of the strong dog show
  7. it was a good show today the lads put on they were let down at the last minute with the lurcher judge but the replacement mr John Kelly done a great job and it looks like temple street will be happy thanks to every one that turned up and made a few quid for a great cause
  8. a mate of mine has this x and he can be but to any job
  9. Gem i had a russell bitch that i had covered with a good dog and 1 of my neighbours poxy mongrels caught the bitch a few days later so i got her the jab that evening but nine weeks later she had 2 pups but thank fcuk they were russells but i think without the jab there would of been more pups in the litter because she had 2 more litters to the same russell dog and each time she had 6
  10. Sure Paddy gets lost looking for the jacks in his own gaff, lol, looking forward to the show. yeah but i get lost trying to get out of mine

  13. Lurcher 330 The two classes are as advertised KC registered and Unregistered Whippets. I think this is an advance on having just one class for 'Whippets'. It is up to the club to decided what is a whippet on the day. This is the way it will be run this year but we have discussed classifying them by weight/height for future events. Your suggestions are welcome. AlbertJ will the showing be the same because if so there is no reason why the terriers should not be the same so that say the border terriers and Lakelands should have to show their papers on the day to enter their class and if
  14. I like my Terrier work aswell but im gona say this before anyone else does that terrier work is all about getting into a nice hole

  16. not sure what the exact postcode is but it's on the Dunshaughlin road co meath rathbeggen lakes'it's near Fairyhouse racecourse
  17. will the unreg whippets be in a different race than the non ped whippets because there is a big difference
  18. it would have to be wheaten or collie x for me with the greyhound side being 3/4
  19. Thanks - the Roscrea Club are a very keen bunch of lads ( and young guys and ladies of course) and I hope they get your support. I should have said all dogs racing must be muzzled and that the race track will be securely fenced off in the interests of safety to spectators and dogs. Shane's a nice bloke i'd say him and the lads will do a great job at Birr ,they put on a good show themselves in Roscrea last year it's a pity it was'nt on this year
  20. IMO a 4 foot stainless steel bar is the best half the weight of normal steel and twice as strong and alloy would'nt be worth a wxnk, not strong enough
  21. some great classes there Mary it's good to see dogs and bitchs in different classes, looking forward to it
