    Wheatens have been bred to do the job quick that why at the trails they were timed and the quicker the job was done the better ,but if you have two dogs that do the job well why not breed them together not matter what breed they are sure every full bred dog was originally a cross bred

A friend has something similar that i bred last year-im heading out with him tomorrow,ill take a few pictures of him if i can get a lend of a camera. no lad she's a wheaten i think i seen this bitch at the dog show last sunday, i was talking to the lad that ownes her for a bit, shes a short and strong lookin little bitch if its the one im thinkin of ye mate that was her at Rathbeggen

    i had a russell bitch a few years back,in her 1st season which she started in january she had 16 HARD digs and the start of her next season she came up after about a 1/2 hour on her 1st time out tryed her again about a week later and the same thing again so i left her in for about 6 weeks and brought her out again entered her to a very big earth saying if she does it again she wont be coming home and after a 3 hour dig when we opened up she had 3 in the pot with bearley a mark on her but lost her in the ground a couple of years ago dug to her but when we lifted her she started fitting and died

    they can be very highly strung to and when they run they put a 100% in weather chasing game or just speed flashing around the field

    I was out today with a few of my dogs and 1 of them was trying to catch fish it was was my 1st time in this place and it is only down the road from were i am now seen plenty of sign of things to hunt but watching mybitch trying to catch trout was some laugh

    when im digging deep in sandy soil i try to keep a ledge on each side to stand on because most cave ins are from your own weight and if it does happen mostly when your in about a foot from the dog dig, like fcuk the quicker ye there the better

    i use ever bit of meat caught for myself dogs and ferrets bar fox but i remove their tails for playing with the pups

    It was an aufull pity the lure broke but if that did'nt happen and a few more terriers turned up it would of made the day a complete success but saying that 1800 euro for temple street it was a success

    i have seen some good bull xs and and some very bad ones but the problem is there is pit bull and pet bulls out there so you cant just use any bull to produce a good working lurcher

    are they ok with sheep 1 of thems is but the other 1i got when she was just over 12mths is a bit dodgy with them has'nt caused any damage but she has gave them that look a few times but let a good roar at her and she knows the crack

    the lads did'nt know about that until after the fact they were meant get 5 a head and give the land owner 2 from each of that but i dont think the girls at the gate were wide to that and everyone was told to see Paddy for a refund for the racing ,some did but most did'nt bother and some carried over to the show ring
