    have you got all the pedigree of RW lines and jimC lines so what you are saying jim took over from ray he never bred them right and Raymond told me lies and i new him for over 25 years and jim Titchfield Terror was not out of rays stuff and the dog that Kieth Young bred Frosty was not out of levi stuff yet he was like a son to levi sum one has their wires cross

    Ray walker worked this line very hard and went out with Levi but so did alot of good terriermen fred jim gordon keith john frank to name but a few but I know one thing you would have to ring Levi he wouldnt ring you

    It will only work if no one ditate to its members and keep the Borders pure any reason why this should happen? have a look at the thread not breeding borders with papers so other breeds will be put in and also being told how much you can sell them for not for me

    Nice border mate how she bred do she work below ground how old is she cheers breeder shes foxwyn bred,8 yrs old ,i never entered her to ground mate but has bolted plenty from bales & tight bits of cover & nice bits to lay up in ,shes been a very good bitch ,steady, dosnt lie ,has a hellish nose a pleasure to work ,watch & own,there is a lot from this line that were worked to ground tho have you bred from her and if you have how did the pups go? working homes

    sorry mate but i have this line of WORKING border and thay are good WORKERS - NEVER twos up, you might though mate? but not markp or the lads he works them with ask john he would like a pup out of this line

    If you have tried for years,you must really want one,if i really wanted something i would pay the price,this is the same problem that keeps cropping up,there has been a set price paid for borders for years,so why should the man who has worked even harder to keep a working line going sell his cheaper,than those who keep them as pets,surely he is entitled to the same money some people just dont get it and never will ....funny how its a alaunt owner that wrote that I tried the alaunt but it didnt suit,maybe i will get my user name changed to please you,yes some people will never get it,

    I think you are right the club should stay out of pricing and all so keep away from non pedigree borders you have seen some of the border on this thread all pedigree and good WORKERS

    i cant understand why all the fuss about the price of border terriers is constanty brought up so what if there kc reg if you think there to much money go get a pat or russel some things are more expensive than others thats life. i register mine if i sell a couple of pups and make a few quid so what iam not going to give them away to every tom dick and harry iam more interested in the working side but i kc reg mine does that make me more interested in the financial side?its like you right books for the love of it not for a finacial 1 IAM SURE!!! why not drop the price of your books so more work

    if you would take a bit of time to read the threads on the site such as the working border club thread, then you could ask questions on there .why they are looking to make a list of proven working stud dogs of over 5 years old etc. then you might learn a bit. i dont mean to jump down your throat but there are some ejits out there. i didnt realise you were a young lad wanting to learn. none of us are experts, we are all learning each time we go out will put dev Wxm take a bit time and read the thread on working border club

    I do not understand I know of 4 good working border digging dogs all 5yrs or over dogs that will stay till dug to ONE stud dog can line 100s of bitchs lads will have to travel to line their bitchs keep the BORDER TRUE

    A lad on here said that Dave Harcombe tried it about 20 years ago, and it didn't work. The reasons it didn't work was there was no internet and he used alot of show bred stuff, thinking he could get them to work. Just before he wrapped in the borders, Levi Oates offered him 3 digging borders, 2 bitches and a dog that were working, not pups. John getting back to you, I think you have a big task ahead of you and I know quite a few lads up and down the country that would say the same. I love the idea of it, as I am very passionate about border terriers, and I wish you the best of luck in your que

    yes but you have to look hard for the right stuff I do not breed form middleton stuff because he put pedigree welsh terrier in his lines back in the 80s I think they still work? and if you look hard a few lads still got old brightmore lines
