  1. well yesterday was a good day, a couple of mates came down and we managed to get my disco going after its head gasket failure. we then went to meet up with my hunt who were out, and as they were in a good spot we were hopingfor a mark to ground. As we got there it was about 13.00 so this valley would be the last draw of the day, but probably the best as its riddled with holes, the hounds were already speaking and away down the valley, my old man was out already and he hollared one away from behind us, so we grabbed our dogs and headed over to him sharpish.   6. Morning, does anybody have any ladder trap designs? and advise on how to use them? i have alot of rooks and jackdaws about where i work as a bird controller, and some need to go, shoting doesnt make much of an impact on their numbers either? any advise would be greatly apprecciated, cheers oli

  15. My old man went along then, he has been going each week for a bit of excersise of the hounds!! and terriers?! im going to try and get along to one meet before our pack starts, that cant be far away now the corn is being cut as i type this?!!!

  20. definately be buying a copy of your new book when its out,the last one was a really good read. i also think that your determination to bring back the working border to the working terrier world is very couragous and im sure it will pay off in years to come , so when my boys are older they have the choice of more quality working terrier breeds to choose from. cheers oli

  22. im new to the .17 HMR and have found it to be more accurate after a clean through with a bore snake? I have found that after 20 or so rounds the snakes brass weight is a struggle to move down the barrel but once done if another pull through the brass flies down? to me that shows there is a frequent build up??? i have read that a new barrel should be 'broken in' i have just read how to do this if i dont will it affect the guns long term performance. its a stainless barreled stilrling model 1700 for anyone interested?! had these after work earlier went out for a quick half hour, 5 out of
