The 98 looks like a simple break barrel where as the 97 has a lever under the barrel that you cock, I’ve never really been into air rifles to be honest the only real memorable one I had was a pump action Crossman in 177 when I was a youth it was so powerful that I used to shoot milk bottles and used to make an entry and exit hole without smashing the bottle.

Nothing wrong with the 97 i agree I just don’t use air rifles I thought I wanted one and then when I got it I just reach for my rimfire every time a lot of people say the same a very accurate rifle.

I’ve got a HW97K in 22 flavour full set up strap bag Hawke Eclipse scope and 2 full tins of quality pellets I’d sell it in a heartbeat as I never use it, but what puts me off is the messing about posting it, good luck in your search though there’s plenty about.

There’s a couple of restaurants you can get a beer food ect the RNLI have a big base there and a shop, much more going on than a few years back the train isn’t as frequent we didn’t use it, but they have two out of action one derailed and one hit the buffer stops both driver error apparently they only get 40 hours training. Quite busy in the decent weather but a lovely walk if it’s not too windy. Best place to see the Red Arrows is in the Holiday Inn at Southend Airport in the bar on the 5th floor overlooking the runway if you know what time they are landing and taking off. -

Had a little stroll down the longest pier in the UK today very nice it was too had a 99 at the end then walked back temperature was about 25c. -
I’ve dealt with loads of suicides and suicidal people going back to the original post 10 hours is negligence somebody should have seen him an intervention would have stopped that particular episode, but unless they get help they always turn up again the amount of times I dealt with people maybe 5/6 times you get to know them a bit then you get the call when they’ve done the deed it’s quite sad really. The railway Chaplain for the Cambridgeshire/ Herts area is a female she’s a very nice person to get on with.

RAF Regiment have a shit reputation amongst other regiments the banter they are going to receive now has just risen tenfold also where were the Military police, I remember when my lad was at RAF Lyneham and Brize early in his career he was always getting bollocked for being in the wrong place things can’t have deteriorated that badly surely in such a short time.

I certainly was and in this weather it was hellish everything starts to stretch rails overheads and the heat coming off the rail something else, I miss it but I don’t miss it if that makes sense.
