  5. What I can't understand is why lads are given out about spending money on a well bred dog. Look at the price of a well bred working springer, look at the price of a Yorkie ffs, yet they give out like fook, when they pay for a dog of working stock whose worth 10 times the price of a pet Yorkie....callin men dealers like there scum fookin unreal.
  6. About as real as an English Staff you mean, they're just pit dogs, given a name for show purposes.
  7. Have you tried out this Stealth Gear Voon ? I keep looking at it and wondering if its worth a punt.. I tried the Deerhunter and the Sealand gear over last few seasons and none of it is waterproof on a nights lamping or days ferreting . . Still keep coming back to the old Wax Jacket for ferreting the hedges/thorns etc etc. . I'm yet to find a truly waterproof breathable all round jacket/trousers. Also like the Kammo gear but that's a bit expensive.. But made to last. http://www.kammo.co.uk/ Had been debating about buying the trousers, but some lads reckon their two warm and nois
  8. Of course they did...and no doubt took their Game dogs and Game cocks with them...as did the English,Irish,Welsh and Cornish dogmen...its a modern day romantic myth that the APBT originates from dogs that 'mostly' came from Ireland No romantic ideas at all. It's more or less a fact that the Irish originally got their dogs from the British and the Irish bloodlines were popular with the yanks. So after the British left their dogs with the Irish the Irish just made them better. Same as today with terrier lines (patterdales, russe Thats your opinion and your entitled to it...its an ignorant on
  9. by judicious breeding practices, work and culling they will improve the lines, probably rename them the yankadale, texadale, or maybe the yorkadale. Suggestions on a postcard please.
  10. It don't matter where they came from, they were made in America.

  17. Vin, Advocate contains imidacloprid at 100mg/ml which is 10% solution and moxidectin at 25mg/ml which is a 2.5% solution. The bug killer is made by Bayer, who also make advocate spot on. From memory it contained 0.32gl of imidacloprid and the rest is water. We sprayed it on to kill the flea's, and it did, but because it wouldn't have the stickers in a pour on, it wouldn't have the same longevity as a spot on, which is basically a small animal version of a cattle pour-on, at an inflated price. The moxidectin is the wormer/mite control active ingredient in spot on, it's not particularly
  18. What was the rough cost of importation? Maybe pm if you don't want to say on net...

  20. http://www.woodiesdiy.com/Product/bayer-provado-ultimate-bug-killer-ready-to-use/13934/4.4.8 We got bug killer out of woodies last year to cure a persistent flea problem, I think it was that one, but the can was a fiver. Look for a bug killer with imidachlorid. Flea's dropped of, sprayed sheds with non op sheep dip then. You can use fly treatments for cattle as well. The one's with cypermetrin in them 30 quid for 500 ml, spot on back of neck and the base of the tail. .,

  22. AJ is definitely heading in the right direction. AJ has good long range punching ability, after the first right hand hit KJ and he felt its power, he wanted out of there. KJ headed to the corners and AJ just stalked him laterally, fired in a combo, KJ covered up which allowed AJ to advance and use his hooks and big bombs to finish the contest. Note AJ's movement and transference of weight from one foot to another as he looked for the finish. I think that most boxers who get in the ring with AJ will be beat before they throw a punch. They will believe in the hype surrounding him now, a bit
