    i'm not for or against bull crosses i had one years ago and have seen a few worked. if they suit you then fine. but why pull down other breeds like i say ive had both and prefare my wheaten cross. if everyone liked the same thing it would be a boring forum. yis

    most rifle lads round here will walk past foxes. in case there is a deer round the next bit. plenty foxes where i go. but there always is this time of year. winter barley is ready. so should go down in the next good spell. season is nearly on us i'm glad i have waited. hopefully it'll pay off over the next few months.

    why do you say alternitive ? because i am 15 and i allredy have eerhound gray saluki wipet gray and wanted somthing for singlehanded and my mum wudent let me have a bull cross so i got a deerhound grey weaton gray and wondering what to expect a pile of shite in my eyes bullx all the way fella. they will be the same as bull crosses some good. some average. and yes some shite.

    Hes a beauty cleanspade. Is he a first cross or whats the score with him. yes he is a first cross. laguna whippet with a working type wheaten. he is twenty three inch to the shoulder and a good allround pest dog.

    he is fast enough to catch a good percentage on the lamp. and easily fast enough for retrieving . a good allround ferretting dog. and works cover well. its hard to explain but if i.m on a golf course i get very few. on pasture i do allright see them rabbits that straight line and head for home head down arse up. well he can get up to them but has to really give it all to get on terms with em. as for retreiving or tracking foxes. i dont do enough to boast but what he has done has suited me fine. pictures can be deceptive. pics 1 and two are the same dog with and without hair

    thanks early days for black dog but he will get his chance heard one or two good reports of wheaton crosses being game [bANNED TEXT] age is that one of yours and can he do the job regards dabchick this one is handy dabchick. an allround dog for rabbitting ferretting and working with the terriers. i dont do as much as some but he hasnt let me down yet. he is 4/5 ish and i'm looking forward to the season with him.

    i have never fed any of my dogs before working. thats for terriers and lurchers. well fed fit dogs are better fed after work in my opinion.

    looks like a handy looking little team you have i also hunt a similar little team and get some good sport. your dogs look a credit to you all the best in the coming season. my team. whippet cross wheaten. and terriers not that dissimilar

    some wheaten crosses have plenty of power. but as in bull crosses the stronger dogs lack a yard in pace ozzy strong as an ox

    the KC also dropped the ....jack.....so they are just parson russells. the name was to similar to the cheaper version so it had to be dropped to get the price up Not really. The FCI separated the breed "Parson Jack Russell terrier" into 2 breeds as the height range was way too big and this isn't tolerated by the FCI. The one under 12" (30.5 cm) got the name Jack Russell terrier and the one over 12" got the name Parson Russell terrier.     a good one certanly is. depends what you want from a bullcross. there are many forms of both types. line bred / first crosses / second crosses. greyhound cross whippet crosses blah blah.. what are you looking for in a lurcher. then you could be better advised
