  2. the site now has nearly 18 thousand members. as the site grows so will the dogs for sale section. just an observation
  3. ive worked two greyhounds. lamping and daytime. both where f****d up in there first season. and both had very limited stamina. both however would kill foxes. they are to easily injured if run regular this was many years ago before the ban .
  4. i have quite a formidable animal. had the dog baying for a while. but he soon got the better of it and took hold till i dug it. not as hard as they look
  5. i like a strongish lurcher first cross dogs are for me i dont nead a really fast dog . just fast enough to get to grips with a bunny will do. but due to the fact that i usually only keep one lurcher. it needs to be durable. even thinking of a reverse three quarter for my next one or a lurcher to lurcher with plenty base blood
  6. nope. not one bit. as long as they are well looked after a good dog will be a good dog regardless where they are kept.
  7. on the upside you have the socialising and bonding on the downside you have flea's ticks lice. and mange. i keep some indoors. no reason i just like to be about them

  12. my mates plumber was out digging every other day for nearly 6 year before the ban and that dog never let him down. his is after another one soon. is this dog still about sharp shooter. ? Dont know mate, I will have to get back to you about it. I know he gave it away to be 'retired' but it was still worked a bit. Why do you ask?   13. hello all have been on before. but came away for a while. then found my sons acount. (rabbitcatcher) and couldnt resist having a nosey so anyway i'm back on for a while i have a few terriers plummers and russells. and use em for all round pestin. i allso keep a small lurcher for the same stuff. look forward to reading your posts
  14. i have also another bitch that is outcross she has a higher percentage bull in her so is on the big side . but does go to ground and has bolted a few foxes for me now and been dug to a few times. all above board ind in acordance with the law. gotta say i'm looking forward to the coming season. saxon sassy

  17. the outcross stuff imo is holding its own and breeding some decent terriers now only a fool would disregard these dogs as a chance to widen the genepool. there is a dog on a post in terriers now that is a product of the outcross program. the topic is pinsley ace. a very fine young dog. check it out and make your own minds up. have to say i like the look of the two dogs in your first pic. how are they doing work wise?

  19. what a load of absolute shite ............................... no amount of experiance or patience will make a average/bad dog anything other than average or bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 if they are rubbish sort it move on ...............cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear................ failed dogs are a fact of life if YOU cant face that you shouldnt have dogs!!! simple as that fucks sake .......... yis fellman so what would you do with a young inexperienced dog that came away after one difficult dig. ??
