  1. could you tell me the average size of a dog and the average size of bitch . you are getting from these lines. and how the coats are turning out. ( do you get many smooths.) also how do you find the temprement of these terriers. thanks in advance
  2. thanks for the clips Mart. nice to see your getting a bit of sport. and your terrier is getting plenty of experience. as for him nor being a world beater . its horses for courses. and he looks like an energetic little baying terrier. the type that i like. i have woeked a few from these lines and they have varied from yappy little bayers that can call out to much harder stay till dug to types. that take a bit of stick.   3. all good terrier crosses will go to ground . had a whuppet beddy 19 ttt would work to ground and was better than some terriers if he had some room to work. my present dog fly's to ground. he is 23 inch wouldnt have it any other way
  4. my Ozzy. not the fastest ive had, turns like a boat. hard mouthed .one ignorant son of a ...... but would drag his balls over a mile of broken glass. just to get his teeth round what you point him at. ive had one or two lurchers but this fella is my favourite.

  8. your dogs workstyle will to some degree decide for you if you have to dig or get a bolt. and the way you go about the job yourself. can help decide the outcome also
  9. so the dog was stolen from its owner. then sold. then you bought the dog. the original owner is still minus a dog and hasnt been paid. even thought you paid for it. ...its stolen goods. maybe the original owner is out of his depths and feels he is not able to claim the dog back. due to pressures unknown to us. if this was goods and not a dog would you be the legal owner. the hkole thing stinks. if it was me he would have his dog back and i would be awaiting a pup this would have been cleared up if the original thead starter had cleared things up as soon as the dog was located. very strange

  16. . spoken like a real tough diggin man. proud of ya. any more words of wisdom i start a terrier when its ready (in my eyes) for rats. i would wait till its around six to eight months. and later if i felt it could help. for fox anytime between one and three years. depending on the dog.
