  1. GB play S Africa in one semi final and Japan v Fiji in the other. Good luck Team GB. https://www.google.co.uk/#q=olympic+rugby+sevens&mie=oly%2C%5B%22%2Fm%2F02k5b8%22%2C6%2C%22g%22%2C1%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2Cnull%2C0%5D TC
  2. Spot on terry like the cauliflowers I have to go over them with fine tooth comb i get it in the ear if they find a slug What I used to say was "if a slug can live on it it's not going to do me any harm" Still had to cut pieces off them though. TC
  3. Well blow me down with a feather. Japan beat New Zealand 14-12 in the mens rugby sevens. TC
  4. A Sea Trout Grilse. A fish that has gone to sea in the Spring of the same year it returns for the first time. They have different names all over the country. White fish, Herling, Sewin, Whitling, Peal plus a few others I cannot remember. TC
  5. The Tories have always been so much better at keeping their infighting out of the public eye, much more disciplined. Also the fact they're in power but with a small majority helps keep some MPs in line, they don't want to be the ones to bring down the government. Make no mistake though folk are sharpening their knives behind closed doors, Brexit negotiations haven't even started yet... The right of the party went along with nominating Corbyn because they honestly went into that leadership election expecting to crush the left forever, that was the whole point of the £3 votes and all the o
  6. Hard to believe I know, given that they will do anything for a buck. http://www.theladbible.com/news/news-solicitors-refuse-to-represent-lee-rigby-killer-in-legal-appeal-20160808 TC
  7. I have not seen a wasp yet, we usually have a nest every year either in the house or garden and depending where it is placed decides whether it goes or not. But not seen a wasp. TC
  8. I find it amusing now how people react to such quizzes as above. If you had given me that quiz 40 years ago l would have probably scored in the high 90's. That said, as you get older you do, through life's experiences, get wiser. Closer to the truth of it all, then when you think you have actually cracked it you die. TC
  9. If it has caused a difference I am honestly at a loss to tell you why, but there was a difference to previous years, now whether it would be the same next year I could not tell you. That is one of the problems with gardening it can take years to find out why things are going wrong as there are so many variables. Next year maybe you could prepare your brassica beds early to give them time to settle and see if that makes a difference? Just a shot in the dark. TC
  10. Jok, think what has been the difference between last year and this with your plot prep. Rotavator. TC
  11. 24% for me. I always knew I was too nice. TC
  12. Terry, first thing you do is sort through them and pull out any with thick necks and use them first as they will not keep even when dried. I used to use a sheet of polycarbonate over mine put the onions on a pallet or anything that will get them off the ground and let air circulate around them, then cover them so that the light can get at them. As said I used the poly sheets that they use for conservatories roof for mine, but plastic sheeting will do just to keep the rain off them as long as there is room for air to circulate around the onions. TC
  13. True, but can you take the blade off an electric chain saw and put a sanding disc on and sand the piece of wood that you have just sawn? Seriously though, I think you just do not get it. It's about the concept, the ability to come up with an idea and follow it through to have something that works as a consequence. TC
  14. James Davies and Sam Cross are Welsh and Mark Bennett is Scottish, so not entirely English. iirc wasn't it England's 7s that got GB qualified? 18 in the squad 2 Welsh 2 Scot's you do the maths. TC
  15. I will be watching the English 7's in the rugby. What a fecking joke team GB. TC
  16. 3mm v 2mm draw cord peoples own choice, personally I like around 1.5, same with the mesh size I use a 2 1/8" mesh board for no other reason than that is what I prefer, allows a rabbit to get its head through a mesh. 2" in nylon is fine as it will stretch enough for the rabbit to get it's head through, spun poly does not have that type of stretch. TC
  17. FFS it was supposed to be a debate not a mutual admiration meeting. They spent more time agreeing with each other than explaining their own policies. TC
  18. What a load of bullocks just the same old rhetoric. The questions must have been written by 10 year old's. When are politicians going to realise the people who vote for them do not need to be told how to think. TC
  19. Your powers of observation astound me! TC
  20. That what we have with the hard drive. To be honest apart from freezing now and again on certain channels can't fault it. For what we were paying sly it has paid for it's self in 6 months. Can even get the ppv for nowt. TC
  21. The last people who I want to see in power would be a socialist government. That said, the best opposition for any other party would be the socialists. To be fair there is not much choice between the rest, new labour = back door Tories. Ukip the same, and the Tories are well the Tories and do not pretend to be anything else. A strong social opposition can keep any of the far right in check, keep things on a more level playing field, where some others in society get a chance of bettering themselves, or not being penalised for being poor. As always just my opinion. TC
