850 meshes will make a 47 yard net rigged by halves or 100% bag there are 18 meshes to a yard of rigged net. 850 divided by 18 = 47.22 TC

Wales under 20's gain their third win of the championship with a convicing win over Italy in Vitabero in a mud bath of a match. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/21508367 Even though the conditions were terrible both sides tried to play rugby. TC

FACT! Then why was it years ago before there was a welfare system there was still loads of kids being born into severe poverty? Its no different to today, there has to be more done to help these people at the bottom. People in he community used to help one another, especially those that were struggling. Nowadays we point the finger at them and sneer! You ain't got a clue what you're talking about IMO. As has been said before, divide and conquer. most of the ney-sayers are aspiring middle class, who actually think that they can get rich. It suits every goverment to have a two tier sys

That is twisted nylon in the photo and unless you can get the knots better you will be honestly waisting your time making the net. I don't want to dishearten you but in all honesty I am telling you now to save you from a big mistake. TC

Parisse banned for 30 days pending an appeal. but it does mean if he appeals or not he will miss the Welsh game in Rome. Italy have brought in 33 year old Mauro Bergamasco in parisse's place. TC

Let me get this right you are going to hand rear and imprint kits till they can eat for themselves, then release them back into the wild? Personal opinion, knock them on the head now. It will save them a lot of pain later. TC

bollox When britania ruled the waves, and the sun never set on the british empire we owned most of the world we gave them all british passports. Jamaica, India, hong kong to name but a few. So now we are paying for it. TC

Paulus, you are just repeating what I have been saying for years. We the vast majority of the populace are just cannon fodder, we are there to make them money. The biggest political brainwave of the last centuary was the creation of the middle classes. Margret Thatcher knew that with a divided poulation they would conquer. So they fostered the idea that people could make themselves rich and people bought it. Look at the minimum wage, was that brought in to help the low wage earners? Was it feck, it was brought in so that companies could get away with paying slave labour wages, while all th

Take the gills out of them. Turn them over open up the gill cavity and scrape the dead mans fingers out. It's the bacteria in the gills that make them go bad. As a bye the cock crabs will be starting to moult any time now. Time to get your traps down in the estuaries. Edited to add: If you freeze them mounted on a hook then individually wrap them in clingfilm, they can be used when still frozen and will thaw out in the water. Keep them in a food flask till needed when you go out. TC

Absolutely fabulous. A credit to you. Your on another level compared to us mere mortals., TC -
The confusion may occur where the selvedge is the same materiel as the body of the net. The only nets I have ever seen without a selvedge are reject nets that have been sold cheaply. Ropeseller on ebay was selling them. As Tomo rightly states all netting that is used for rabbiting is made for the fishing industry. TC
