  6. There’s a difference between pedigree and breed, Galgos aren’t pedigree, they’re bred for purpose not for look. Kennel club pedigrees are bred for look and not for purpose. So Galgos have some variation as it doesn’t matter what they look like but what they perform like, having said that the mainstream Group one hounds are pretty level these days as they all compete in similar events so a type has developed that one can see in the national but smaller local events, groups 2 or 3, still show a little local variance and the odd rough coat still turn up.
