    Well benson im not mad on whippet blooded dogs they do make good rabbit dogs but there is plenty other crosses just as good. 3/4greyhound 1/4 collie would be a handy cross for you easily trained and make handy rabbit dogs. Well keep an eye out in the classifieds on here but be carefull what you go for as im sure a few gangsters slip through the net to that section or your local adds or try and get in with some hunting lads around you they could know of a good well bred litter off decent dogs. Have a look through a few old threads on lurchers and running dogs have a look at a few differ

    Benson there is plenty to choose from so dont be in any rush...The main thing is you get a dog that suits your needs ie, quarry etc. I wouldnt personaly go next nor near the whippet bull as after stainlees outburst above . If the dog had no vices then he wouldnt have a problem with you asking about it. As i said above about not being in a rush its coming into the season so there will be plenty of pups for sale also plenty of saplings (Young dogs) ready for september its geting an unspoiled well bred one.     Greyhound transport will collect dog in doncaster and drop it to south or north of ireland no problems no customs etc.

    Wexford pa id reckon your right with saying its antis as iv heard done deal where going to delete any working dog adds and its because of these types of adds will get the genuine adds (If any) deleted. Wouldnt put it past an anti to have made out the add.

    Shows exactly what you know kid.... scottish carper ingram, It all depends what your going running them on.If your after an all rounder 3/4grey 1/4bull fit the bill . But if your after more testing quarry Half cross will do or even a 5/8Greyhound 3/8bull. Then again if your after one for looks then your better off with a nice big buck ferret as these dogs ar by no means pets.

    Awrite kid long time no talk...hows that deerhound cross of yours doing Ya mate bein a while should pop into chat some night... I gave her up to a lad who keeps them up the country shes flying for him has turned out top class at what she was bred for . She came that bit to big for the fields i run could even see that at 9 mths she turned out way bigger and better boned then two of her comrads wasnt half proud of the good grubing she got with me as a pup when i saw her alongside her 2 comrads (Bigger then dog and bitch)and she was the smallest bitch in the litter.

    When theres an interest in something there can be any price put on it but as the book your commenting on is £17.50 + £2.50 P&P = £20 not £32 !! As for just gathering up a load of old pics id say it wasnt as easy as that somehow, For £20 I think its well worth it as will other lads who have an interest. Have you got the book or ar you just commenting from your imagination?

    Know of only one old timer near me keeps a line of his own sealyham terriers tho never seen any of his dogs out as he does keep well to himself he works them well, Iv seen a few off his lines that a mate of his has and they do the job time and time agian. Plenty of russels around with the sealyham blood tho.
