  1. 1 hour has elapsed So you forgot to put the card in? lol I had a similar cam i never managed to change the settings either it wasn't very good quality but it sure was lucky- always seemed to be in the right place and i always wished i'd put the good cam where that one was.
  2. I guess the cam is only programable via your computer Ken? Find a wire that works? Good luck.
  3. By top ups do you mean sim card top ups? I just got one off 1p mobile its £30 for a year and seems to be working (in a security cam) fine.
  4. Great thread- the black led cams are handy when their set where some one might spot a red light.
  5. Feck me KD your like the kiss of death to anything electrical! lol
  6. Try garmin UK theres a UK legal one available now.
  7. I like to knock up a little shelter if im camping for two nights or more! lol
  8. What on earth was the problem up to now though KD? Has the trail cam just decided to work again? Hope your in time to get those cubs on cam.
  9. Read that to quick then Edie- i thought you starved the bitch for a year lol
  10. Check out the garmin mini t5 collars
  11. I've never discharged a battery KD and don't seem to get any problems- i think your barking up the wrong trees lol
  12. Look up the plotwatcher vids on youtube treefella they're spot on for knowing what times things come along.
  13. The sd cards range from 1 to 10 class rating which means their ability to write information to a card so a good card will handle the vids and pics better than a cheap one. Also some cameras just seem to take a dislike lol to certain cards and they do sometimes stop working.Headache yet KD? lol
  14. I just wondered if your problem is a dodgy sd card KD? Worth trying a different one perhaps.
  15. I just bought the little acorn (6210) from Pakatak KD. Their real tough things and take 12 batteries so you could leave it set for 6 months easy. If your always setting it near your house the mini acorn (4 batteries)takes better pics and film (dont buy the white light one!!!) read up on the two- the mini acorn needs a seperate screen that you plug into it to adjust settings and see the pics etc.
  16. Not a mouthful of your chicks KD? lol
  17. 1st rule of trailcaming ~ never eat the mushrooms that grow where you put the chicks out! lol. Seriously though when i put food near an earth for cubs the cubs absolutely love it_ but the vixens...well they kinda know something just isn't right and often move the cubs that night.
  18. Cut a square hole in the lower front and fill it with hay for your horse (you may need to get a horse first)
  19. The cameras usually come with a strap thats only good for fixing to a tree, i swap the strap for strong line (a furry long net line) and try to put them high out of knockable reach(hide the string ends birds pull them undone). Sheep seem strangely attracted to them i had one they knocked over and still had a thousand pics of sheep looking down into one lol. I sometimes use wires too, the old butterfly wall ties unfolded are perfect when you know their going to get bumped. And if you use nuts or something to attract stuff in the badgers seem to end up rooting under your cam!Over the last year o
  20. Not that particular one but i often have some set here and there.
  21. Look up the ikea ladda 2450mh aa rechargeable batteries- they are the boys for the trail cams.I picked one of mine up Saturday -its been set for over 3 months and a hell of a walk out to get it-poxy mountain ponies (i've never seen them that far out before!)had knocked it over fairly soon after i set it(bloody well fixed to with strong wires).Over 7000 photos of-ponies and sky lol
  22. Checkout Pakatak! They specalise in wildlife cameras etc. And have some good recomendations for batteries.
  23. Is that the book that the fella seems to go on about where they shit all the time? lol
