Seamus Lawless one of the irish guys missing has had a GoFund me page set up by his family to try and raise £750,000 to find and recover his body after the insurance company he used are not forthcoming with funds,it costs cash to recover bodies from up there,thats why they are left.

You can do it for half that price with a Nep company,theres shoddy practices nowadays however,i was in Kathmandu last December and there was news of Nep companies not giving people time to acclimatise so they could get kickbacks from the rescue helicopter companies,its quite a well documented practice.As Stiff said theres a few technical bits,but its a trek and physical and mental fortitude with a slice of luck that's going to get you to the top.

I saw this today on a London housing estate ? bold as brass, sitting there, didn't even move when I took the pic, the holy grail, proof that big cats (of a sort) do indeed exist in the UK.

Climbers will tell you it's not the hardest, but it is the highest.Its not the most technical but neither is it a saunter up to the top there's a company at the moment offering 1:1 sherpa assistance to summit it for £40k I took this not particularly good pic of it last December, its the peak in the middle.

Two people died this week waiting in the queue to take selfies at the peak,i think there was 2-300 people in the queue,its lost its exclusivity and cachet somehow.

I would suspect the money and the lifestyle are the attraction for recidivistic criminals,its not the fact they cant change,its more the fact they don't want to,prison isn't a deterrent its an inconvenience in the game.
