His gun was an AR-15,not illegal, but the mag was, high-capacity mags are illegal in the state, I think the limit is a 10 shot mag? Stores get round it by selling mag "kits" you assemble yourself, that's the loophole.

Nothing will stop it in the USA, absolutely nothing, it's part and parcel of the mindset of some of the population, nothing will change, the country is awash with firearms and sub-cultures, the politicians wring their hands, say the appropriate words on TV when called upon to speak following a spree-shooting, but never a real change following one.

Small mercies for that lady that she didn't even realise what was happening, those in the store felt the real terror, the kid was totally committed from the outset, thank goodness bushmasters aren't freely available to all and sundry in the UK. He was a member, really nice guy on the face of it, I got on well with him,he was a cop. There was another group less well known before the inception of the DDS but they were more militant, political, if they marked you your days were numbered, called sparrow units, I spoke to an ex member who had assassinated a number of people, he was an old guy, very quiet and respectful.

Reminds me of the Davao Death Squad, they would go through the door, snatch anyone who was antisocial and vanish them,the city calmed down, but at a price.

I got an ETD once to get out of somewhere when my passport went missing, went to the consul, told them my passport was nicked, got the ETD the same day and left the country a few hours later. Can't you travel around the EU now sans passport but a countries ID card because of the schengen agreement, open borders?
