  1. I did it in France because it was a residential course with beautiful accommodation, my lady was with me as we were going to Paris later, wasn't cheaper, it was a holiday for her really, we did the same sort of thing in Thailand.
  2. I never saw that in sunderland or Surrey, that might just be your area, not indicative of the UK in general. That's what he does mate, works in London, loves the job, started off with an agency cleshars in Wembley, did a load of courses, now he welds ?
  3. My nephew is a welder on the tracks, thermite welding is it? Loves the job, doesn't like permanent nites so much.
  4. The UK isn't a dive man, C'mon, don't keep putting it down, I have lived in a number of countries, some of them really were dives, UK still has a lot going for it ??? I did a flying course about five years back in Limoges, brit guy and his wife ran the business, really nice couple, beautiful farmhouse,and he had a landing strip in his back garden which was handy, health reasons meant they had to move back to UK, happy as Larry nowadays, doesn't have the runway in his garden nowadays, but they are both happy with how life has gone.

  6. Red hot today,so I went to a close lake to look for snapper turtles, on the way there I saw a sheet of ply, my first thought was "Snakes" so I lifted it gently (I also replaced it extra gently), I had flip-flops on, the mother at one point ran over my toes.

  9. I know one who chose the whitest shade possible, he is pasty skinned, not the best look, but his smile is perfect, it just looks unnatural on him due to the shade, they gave him a full makeover in a week, the hotel was full of dental/hair transplant/plastic surgery patients.

Single implant in the UK was around 2k,turkish equivalent is around £400?i know a bloke and his missus went to Turkey, had full Veneers prior to getting married, they looked like they had just stepped off a Hollywood set, a few weeks before the wedding he went to prison for 12 years, she didn't wait for him but she is still smiling, I don't think he is though.

  12. Dentists (private) earn decent cash, it cost me £200 just for a 30 minute consultation with an implantologist to see if my gum was suitable for an implant, if I was doing it nowadays I would just fly to Turkey, I have seen a few people who have been for dental work and it was superb.

  21. One thing I did tell my kid when we were chatting about his future, be a Doctor,Pilot or lawyer, computer bods aren't normally known for being fanny magnets ?
