Yes, the real old nice stuff was packaged in wrapping paper with an Eden Hash Centre stamp, I saw it late 1980's in Nepal, I never saw any Temple ball at all last time I was there, time and fashions move on,good news for solid smokers is there's some very nice hashes around at the moment, just not old school like temple ball.

I actually tried to find Mr Sharmas Eden Hash Centre in Kathmandu about 4 years back, it used to be the place to go for the finest Nepalese Temple ball back in the hippy trail days, sadly it was long gone,nowadays it sells rice and foodstuffs.

Truffle certainly has an unusual taste, I am not very good at descriptions but like maybe a mix of hazelnut and onion? The wagyu was import, not a patty but steak, had it and kobe before, worth the cash? Yes,as a treat now and again ?

They had a cash counting machine in reception as you get 15% discount for cash, my mate calls his wife Tits and Teeth as she has had both done, in truth she is an incredibly attractive lady and didn't need any restoration work but I think it's fashion?

My mate and his wife have just been to antalya to get veneers, he bottled out at the last minute and just got a filling and whitening, his wife got the full Hollywood smile, the dentist was telling him last week they had just under 50 patients from Liverpool/Manchester area (grafters la) , they are thinking of opening a practice there.

Nowadays they would have just done everything by phone, retained their anonymity, sat at home with their feet up drinking a cup of tea while tracking their duty-free's and watching them head to their destination.

Used to be dirt cheap at source, but sometimes doing everything yourself like that to cut out a few links of the chain and save a few quid is false economy, but at least they tried.
