Saw a couple of Red-Tailed Hawks in the city. -
The head zoo keeper was called John I think,from memory.He told me loads of tales of catching the animals in Africa,which sounded incredible to a 15 year old Sunderland urchin with zero life experience,in hindsight the stories were bollocks and he probably never ventured past Middlesbrough.

Had to go to meet a bloke in little Tokyo today,it borders skid-row,I had some cash in a backpack,I was super cautious.I saw a guy lying face down in the gutter,no one gave a f**k,dozens of people just sitting around on the pavements,got propositioned by a lady for 10 dollars,saw a street Valentines party and a paralysed bloke freestyling about capping snitches and f***ing bitches,I felt right at home. -

In a real old character filled Mexican diner eating breakfast,corned beef hash,rice,and scrambled eggs,bottomless Mexican coffee,couple of big Harley riding bikers drinking coffee when I first came in,everyone speaking Spanish,good food and good atmosphere.
