Tw@t, I just got my fresh ground through my snotter Exactly, a good laugh taken as its meant. Where else could we all have a scream like this without some git interfearing?
  2. I got the 300 Lumen version from ebay with all the extra's, batteries are re-chargable. I got it all for less than £20 so keep looking on ebay I have the Tesco Torch which I was impressed with until I actually took it out into the field I would highly recommend the 300 version over the Tesco in the field its not as good as a big lamp, but out to 40 yards or so, its good enough, and eyes light up at a lot further range http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UltraFire-CREE-300Lu...id=p3911.c0.m14 Phantom

I've never heard of a Van described as 'behind the scenes' Sorry Michael, you did leave yourself wide open for that one buddy :friends: Phew I'm glad he aint a mod, I'd be banned for sure! Seriously, I think that many (but not all eh SS? lick lick lick LOL) people who become Mod's tend to loose their sense of humor and let power go to their heads. I think the mods on this forum do a darn good job actually they allow us to have a laugh without putting a dampner on things. Phantom.

  6. Thats a great idea Buster, Problem round here is the gulls and blackbirds would have em before I got a shot off Phantom
  7. Thanks Foxon, I'm still awaiting Wendy to bring all the stuff up for me to make a complete inventory, take pix and put all relevent parts with the appropriate guns. I'm sure there is bound to be a lot more than what I've listed. Interesting you say that about the Sniper, I have one myself and recently tried to sell it at £40, with no interest. Perhaps I should put them in a collectors area? Thanks for the tip They are a nice little rifle and using Geco's I get 30 shots in the tubular mag My sniper is .177 and is running somewhere near the 6ft/lbs (I understand this is what t
  8. LUCKY Git Enjoy the fruits of your labour, happy shooting & dont forget you camera Phantom
  9. Trebor extra strong mints make good reactive targets, they vanish in a puff of white dust, and they are less than 50p a pack where as the chalk 1inch targets cost a lot more! Phantom
  10. As for what Foxon says about the sticky back foam tape, I did similar with strips of rubber. Boy did I notice the differance, it was fantastic Foxon offers good advice, now I'm off to try and find some nylon washers Phantom
  11. Seriously, unless you do all your shooting from a prone position, they are not a good idea on a springer, but they are ideal on a pcp. I was always a reasonable shot as a kid, but when I actually got to own a springer I figured I would do better resting the rifle on a solid object my accuracy took a very deep nosedive. I went back to shooting normally and it picked up again. I use one on my PCP and it enables me to take much longer shots than I would dare with my springer Like you say they do make good stands, I'm after one of those clip on ones for my springer Phantom
  12. I never mentioned your mucky finger Guilty conscience perhaps  I'm not real sure now about attending one of these little doo's Time spent behind vans' dirty fingers, tenderising rabbits and eating Buck's   :11: :11: Phantom
  13. Your quite correct about the sound levels, sounds just as loud when fired next to your ear, but downrange theres a hell of a difference Regarding the pod, and I'm sure most will agree, take it off. It does very little for accuracy when shooting a springer. Phantom
  14. Hey guy's as some of you may know a friend of mine died suddenly in July He leaves a wife and 3 boys behind and quite an armoury (he was a bit of a gun-aholic ) I need to get a rough figure for the following items and as these are not for sale yet, I dont want to put it in the for sale section yet. Sheridan EB22, (pistol) Gamo Compact (pistol) Gamo Falcon, (target pistol)

  16. Cool shooting buddy, well done Phantom
  17. She'll be calling you back when mom n dad show up. Good shooting, 3 less of the evil creatures Phantom
  18. Cheers Foxon, I'll try that route, if not I'll send it to you. There are only 2 RFD's in Hull and I doubt that either would do it themselves. They would both have to 'send it to the manufacturer' and then charge a hefty premium for doing so. There is one RFD in South Cave, that I will ring on Monday and see how much he can do it for (or whether he will need to send it off), failing that I will send it to you. Anyone who volunteers the info and help that you have deserves the trade When I asked one of the Hull RFD's about the SMK19 he said he wouldn't allow me to bring one in
  19. Of course, once you've decided, then its gonna be .177 or .20 or .22 or .25 Make yourselves comfy guy's Phantom
  20. Must admit, I own both a springer and a PCP. I've not owned a PCP long enough for it to malfunction yet, the only down side I can see is that its a pain in the butt, pumping the buggers up! However, a diving bottle makes life so much easier with these My springer is easy to charge, and running at a higher power than my pcp. Its more of a challenge to shoot especially prone but they are as accurate as each other in my hands. The PCP seems to be the way to go though if you want to shoot at greater distances as lack of recoil helps maintain accuracy. I have taken a bunny with a brai
  21. Okay, Okay already, if its got buck teeth you'll shoot it Reminds me of when Micky mouse was in his lawyers office, "Sorry Micky, you can not divorce Minnie because she's got buck teeth" Micky responded "I didnt say she's got buck teeth, I said she was f**king Goofey" Sorry, but that one had to come out! Phantom
  22. You want ugly, try the AA S200, ( I should know I have one ) now thats a beautyfull seriously ugly gun that stock definately came off the ugly tree; makes the Relum look quite sexy really Phantom
  23. Foxon my good man, What do you use to clean the part where the valve 'bullet' seats? I've used tissue paper, pipecleaners etc. Each time I take the cylinder out of the block, the ventilated cap unscrews and stays inside the blue filter of the block Unless I fasten it down very tight. I have spent so much time pumping this afternoon, I'm knackered again I can build the pressure up to about 750psi but then the pump handle begins to raise to the top of the column so obviously the air is comming back again! I stripped it again and found more gunk around the brass valve bullet, so m
