  4. I had a bad day yesterday so thought I would go chill in the Cemetery and bag me a bunny or two Well when I said Chill, I didn't think I would be frozen solid by the wind comming from the North but I knew it would be cold, so I decided that on top of my DPM, I would wear my waterproof and fleece lined Realtree Jacket. Doing so, although it kept my core temperature up, every time I moved it made a noise (its like a rubberised plastic jacket). I hadn't noticed the noise until I got into position awaiting the arrival of the bunnies from my left. Needless to say, I didn't see any of them a

Didn't know Swindon was in Wales though.... Ask Davy if he speaks welsh..... Darryl I was wondering that, perhaps there is more than one Swindon? I was just going by the flag at the side of his post Davy better not speak Welsh, thats nearly as hard to understand as Geordie Phantom
  6. Get one of what ever in each calibre .177 .20 .22 .25 That way you can shoot it four times and it should be dead If its still running after that, give up shooting completely  Phantom But apart from that, I'm with Sean

    gulls

If he has the appropriate permit then, he would be killing them under the Public Health & Safety But I wonder if a permit would be issued for using an airgun? Phantom
  9. I'd second that too, there are the feathered ones to be murdered as well
  10. Hey Archie, You'll know my answer to that question, having read the post in the dog section. I take more pleasure in putting holes in paper than I do in quarry. But I do get a tremendous buzz out of making the kill as humane as I possibly can. I also like the biology and autopsy session at the end, so making the kill is a big bonus However, I love to sit or lay and just listen and watch the wildlife as it goes about its business. I've seen more species of birds laid in the paddock than I knew existed and watching that young fox grab my bunny really made it for me that day. Another m

Nice going Gary Do you use a bivi bag for camping/sniping? I'm thinking of getting set up this evening in mine and putting the poncho over it. Phantom
  13. Bill, stop encouraging him, you know tractors are not suitable airgun quarry, hell they were never even on the GL! Oh yeah Davy, forgot to say "Wish your ol'e man a happy birthday" from me as well Phantom

  17. Hello and :welcomeani: to the forum Just had a gander, its certainly capable of airgun quarry at normal airgun ranges You won't be shooting any Pheasants for a while though will you? They are off limits until the season starts again, shoot one out of season and your up the creek without a paddle if your caught Phantom PS No need to SHOUT Our eyes aint deaf Well maybe Bills are
  18. I'd have to say for the first time, get it filled from a dive shop or gun shop. Filling from empty will soon have you so fecked, you wont be able to think about taking a shot for a few days! Then fill from a pump when you've finished your shot count. Phantom
  19. Wind and rain round here atm Windy tomorrow but dry and wind although strong looks to be spot on for bunny bashing for me Enjoy the Rat trashing session. Phantom
  20. Excellent shot Kev Look out for his mate, she'll be back Phantom
  21. Davy uses the SR ret If you want to have a play there is as Shay pointed out, CGP you can select the SR rets with that and it will show you your aim points and print out scope caps for you or from the same place you can download the BRC which was developed for the SR and MAP rets http://www.hawkeoptics.com/brc/index.php Phantom
  22. Excellent idea Davy Sir, I'll have my appeal over by the end of next month and will hopefully have some money so I can attend I'm a bit fecked off at the moment as I missed that shooting show, the AAOC meet and right now I should be with about 30 pistol shooters in a pub enjoying one of the best stakes in Coventry. The comps were today and tomorrow and I should have been there Phantom
  23. Well I didnt get out after all Didn't sleep last night despite the meds Fell asleep this afternoon for a couple of hours, woke up feeling crap, rain comming down and its blowing a gale, so I'm staying in tonight. Forcast for tomorrow is dry with sunny spells, but high wind comming from the North I will be shooting directly into it, so I'm not overly worried about drift Alex, Try reinstalling CG I had a runtime error when I first got it (file was corrupt). Davy, is that bait on that hook I see? Phantom
  24. Thanks Bill I think its a trip to morrisons in the morning, for some carnations to lay along his route through the cemy And I think I'll put a few drops of shootmore on it too That should slow him down to a "Stop and Gimmie some lead" You watch he'll preferre daffodils and a splash of old spice or brut Tony ps love the way you handled the printer, I did similar once. think it was where the expression "Its going through the fecking window soon" originated. I gave it one more chance to work and it refused then the entire unit went through the window (open) Luckily ther
