  1. I'm certainly no technition or gunsmith, but I can't see it doing too much damage as a one off occurance. I am open to correction on that though. I wouldn't do it as a regular thing though. Phantom
  2. Just winding you up a little Si (well trying) Nah, Seriously, a person from another section of the forum, was giving me grief awhile back talking about how I "brag about the damage caused by my pellets" so it was actually a little dig at that inbread banjo playing muck eating redneck He knows who he is Phantom
  3. Cheers Shay, I just found them on the bay, may have to purchase one I can easily sit it on the lamp mount Phantom
  4. Hey Kyle, I didn't miss understand it, but I sure did miss read it Thanks for pointing that out buddy, if he'd followed that, I'd have looked like a right twat Phantom
  5. Shay, Just watched that and when you called your dog back, my two budgies started squawking like f k ! Whats the specs of the camera? Phantom
  6. Hi there Have you changed pellets by any chance? I tried BizMags and found they dropped two inches or so lower than my normal pellets. If you do need to adjust the scope to get the pellet to rise, you would turn the windage upwards usually marked by an UP and then an arrow. How many clicks depends on the scope itself, some have more than or less than others. Phantom
  7. Nice one ole boy Get the pix up when you get in then Phantom
  8. Its down to lack of sleep Shay. That and I have to find summat to occupy my brain cell, wind round here is attrocious so no chance of shooting, nice blue sky as well. Was chucking halestone five mins ago. Stealthy should have the halestone shortly.
  9. Hey Shay My current Avatar is me aiming at that exact scenario My 1st time on the course, I was supposed to be shooting pix for the H&DFTC at Roos, but I had to have a go at that one. Plated 1st shot right on the edge of the hole, 2nd shot the Squirrel went down Phantom
  10. And if your course designers is as sadistic as somone I know, you will have a 15mm killzone target at 35 yards through a skew whif tunnel with a 10 mill bar of metal hiding over half the killzone Phantom
  11. Hi Andy Good shooting apart from the fluke shot. Had virtually the same start of last week I was also shooting from a fence post Again, dunno how and good on you getting to it before it scrambled off on its front legs. A lesser shooter would have blown the bucks nuts off. That'd teach it Good on you for resisting til you could take his brain out Phantom
  12. There yah go, Old age affecting the eyes now Phantom
  13. Like bunnies bud Supposed to be, but they're found at all times when foods about. Phantom
  14. Thanks again to all I'll keep you all posted Phantom
  15. Okay, now I'm starting to worry about you lot Davy's "Lets see yer Tatties" and "fook me" statement and Si commenting on the GM bit. I thought this was a Mans Man forum. Well Blow Me....., ooo erm..... No on second thoughts don't  Seriously, I like Current ID best Phantom
  16. Hey Chris, :welcomeani: to the Loony Bin (I don't often leave this section so didn't catch your intro in the New members section oh ang on a sec, yes I did just didn't reply ). Good bunch of guy's and gal's in here :friends: but we do get spied upon by some :wankerzo4: 's, Morons and Inbread  banjo playing muck eating rednecks looking for a so we do tend to look out for each other and get shut of that type. However I digress! Back to your statement Its hard work looking for your first bit of land but Patience and Perseverance Pays Dividends in the long run. Phant
  17. BBS really stands for Bulletin Board System and has its origins long before the internet became easily available for users. You used to have to 'Dial up' to a BBS (one computer to another) using an acoustic coupler for the old style telephones that were hardwired into your home or office to connect to a modem. long before the BT and RJ-45 plug in boxes on your wall or skirting board. There thats my good deed for the day done; taught you all a bit of history Ummm MTP may have a point calling me a nerd or computer geek Phantom
  18. Can't argue with whats been said above. Apart from what Si said about the damage issue I study the damage done to the bunny by my .22 in most cases, especially if its a less than perfect shot (and lets face it they do happen to us all from time to time). If you were to shoot a bunny and the wind knocked off your shot to say towards the bunnies nose (Big gust of wind like round here at the moment) using a .177 then that pellet has the velocity to go through the nasal cavity and out the other side, this means that the pellet will retain X-amount of its kinetic energy leaving the pot
  19. Yeah Takes me 10 minutes to do the entire perimiter without my gun But its shooting land so I'm gratefull I'm chomping at the bit to get cracking there Davy, tomorrow looks crap but Monday could be a nice L O N G day out with a good flask of Java and some sarnies and maybe the wifes video camera :secret: Phantom
  20. Not all of us want to see his bits if you dont mind!!! Phantom
  21. YEP thats the one I've just been looking at arial images of this area. This is the land I have to shoot over, its still not massive, nowhere near. But bunny land HERE I COME yeehaaa The big place between the bulk of my land and pool bank is where Tesco's is gonna be Davy, remember that field I told you about, where the bunnies run 10 yards then go back when I've passed em? Thats the brown area to the left, I need to find the land owner of that The Circle is the cricket club. Its not much, but its growing Phantom
  22. Ummm What kind of a Git will you be now Phantom
  23. I was thinking along the lines of a nice warm jockstrap for winter shooting Ive got quite a few pelts in the freezer, much to the disaproval of the wife :wallbash:can't wait to get my own freezer. I'm trying to preserve them got one on the go at the moment, nice and dry, but needs to be softened up. Thinking actually of making a suit for the gun out of bunny pelts, the perfect camo And a fur liner for my DPM and yes a hat. But I' need to get it right or 1st time it rains it'll smell and rot Phantom Phantom
  24. Thank you gentlemen I'm so looking forward to it The land owner mentioned the two little Black Bunnies that keep comming in I was looking forward to letting them grow to adults so I could use their pelts Perhaps there may be times when I accidently miss the occasional shot Si, I keep trying to nick the video camera for a spot of bunny bashing, but the wife says "Its my camera and I don't want it used to film animals being shot" If it wasn't for me riding 60 miles to get it she wouldn't have the damn thing, its only been used at xmas, in Cyprus and a couple of birthdays, it jus
