  1. Hi there Max You will always get a slight deviation in power shot to shot, just as you will with a .22 rimmy. Its only a few feet per second and is not going to make much differance to the quarry at all. If its regulated, then I would expect only a 2 to 4 fps differance, but I'm thinking sub12 there, the range may be higher on an FAC rated rifle. Here are a few graphs of your output, lower end, high end. As you can see with an optimised zero there isn't really any apparent difference the avarage line of trajectory is between the two. Low End High end
  2. Never heard anthing bad about the 100 Not heard much good about the FX rifles, but whatever you decide on, FX Pellets are about as good as they come Welcome home Sean, how was the hot dry sandy place? Phantom
  3. Nice work Shay SPA Came back in an hour back, after a few hours at the cemy/padock BLANKED AGAIN :wallbash: Phantom
  4. Okay guy's, Last chance to buy before it goes on the bay anyone? Scheduled for sale on the bay as of Midnight tonight, Silky don't want it so still open to offers (he's been on since I wrote but no reply). Phantom
  5. Nice work Gary, I didn't even think about going out last night, would have been pointless. So I'm hoping that they won't be letting off the rockets n crap tonight as there is no moon, a slight breeze in the right direction and a bit of cloud cover as well Hope the cricket club aint doing a display this year as I may be on the new permission or hiding behind the scoring box Phantom
  6. As Andy says, Sub 12, require no special storage at all. Common sense says keep it locked away though. So if theres a little room, pop it in with the rest Phantom
  7. LOL Archie, Can you PM me your address please? I'm on the second read of that book now Phantom

  10. As long as the moderator is not incorrectly alligned, they dont interfere much with accuracy at all. I have at the moment got on an Air arms moderator, that I have altered slightly a couple of times and its made it a little quieter at the muzzle Phantom.
  11. Morning Silky, Pop another £3.75 on that to HELP cover the cost of postage (i'll obsorb the rest) and you've got yourself a bargain (understatement!)? Tony
  12. The ferrets had a scrap today! Over the cats toy mouse!!!!

  13. Oh and a lack of deoderant and aftershave!
  14. Gun, Pellets, load and loads and loads of practice before you go hunting. Then you need permission, insurance (not needed, but highly preferable), Common sense, field craft and or patience! Realtree is not required, drab clothes or dpm more than adaquate. Phantom
  15. Nope, The Capybara don't have tails Phantom
  16. Nice one Owen Weathers pretty crud here at the moment as well Chicken legs for the ferrets tonight because of the weather Phantom
  17. The SAK is a pretty good mod I've heard both good and bad about the PH Pellets I use AAF's 5.52mm and FX 16grain both give outstanding results in most AA barrels. I find that the FX group is wider than the AA's by only three or so mm's (probably down to me though!) Regarding the 10 shot conversion Usefull to have, I don't on my S200, but others do. Saves messing around in the dark when its cold and your wearing gloves very handy for ratting Other peoples views on them are on your original thread about the conversion Phantom
  18. I was just going to say try it with a Springer :11: Just stand well back Yeah with a pcp, its probably the best way of getting it precicely spot on, although I use my bipod as I can't be assed to take a workmate with me, even though its only 10mins walk1 Phantom
  19. I like my old bell phone ring tone. You should see the look on their faces when I get a text  Phantom
  20. Well done Gentlemen SPA Who claims the points for the ferrals? If you want a Darts target I know I have the Bully's Prize Board target and I'm sure I can lay my hands on a traditional dartboard target both on A4 if you want? Phantom
  21. Oh well done Gary, nice bag and loved the wright up too SPA Sorry got the posts wrong way round Si rang me once while I was out in the field, luckily I was picking up the corpse at the time I've had a fair few calls just as I've taken up the 1st stage though its just a case of repositioning the crosshairs now because they nearly always look up thinking "WTF?" Phantom
  22. Well put Darryl I don't take part in the yearly comp but I do know the rules are laid out in stone and have been for a couple of seasons now Very well thought out, promoted and entered by many experianced airgun hunters, always has been As for sticking to the rules, I seem to remember this new comp stated in its rules all results were to be added to the one thread, but so far, I've seen at least three threads for it now; Sean's got his work cut out cleaning it up when he gats back! Phantom
  23. Nice going Off to a good start there Chris: You seen much around bud? Cemetery is Dead, Bunnyland Barren and the paddock is the pits at the mo The good news is I'm getting closer to the permission opposite the paddock and the Cricket club Phantom
