    It all boils down to recovery ,its got nothing to do with how fit a dog is or not (yes a fitter dog recovers quicker i know) ,...put the stuff in at end of night dog recovers quicker to go out again,i put everything into my dogs diet ,recovery ,when your out 4/5 times a week a dog needs all help it can get .

    had different lowas for years in army and worn them day in day out and still wear them out hunting 4/5 nights a week ,nver had a problem .top boots .....might be way your laceing them and shape of foot mate.try missing the hooks out with laces where they seem to wear on the two pairs of boots that have gone mate.
