Hares were always the most numerouse on estates where Coursing Clubs or Syndicates had LANDOWNERS PERMISSION to hold meetings be it for Greyhounds, Lurchers, Whippets, or Salukis. These people had RESPECT for the landowner , the Land itself and all property within it as well as the HARE. most of these landowners were supporters of Coursing and attended the meets when they had time with the Clubs - people they had given the permission to. They left areas of land setaside where hares could find cover ect, they didnt shoot any Hares. People within the Club would-could help the Landowner Police hi

HUNTING HARES IN IRELAND IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY THAN IN ENGLAND. HARES ARE LEFT FOR THE DAYTIME FOR THE COURSING LADS OR THE MANY FINE PACKS OF HOUNDS THIS ISLAND HAS. Thers been many commendable posts in the last 3 pages but this one stood out, about the marches, I never missed one along with many other members on here and other sites now how many actual members on here are there that were members then and still are? Very few would be my guess that were in the game back then or even had a dog and that was only coming up to 5yrs ago? Members on here and other sites post of their illegal activities up and down the country regularly, criticise and you get shot down even hero worshipped by many"at least there out there doing it" but as has already been said

I wasnt at the show so only going by whats been posted IMHO a lads met up with someone who sold HIS dog without telling the owner does that make him a dog thief? and the lads not done anything like a lot on here SAY they would do to anyone that stole their own dog.
