  1. You can tow up to 750kg unbraked no problem, so if you got a small garden trailer that just fits your quad you will be fine, though to be honest just do your test mate, cost me about 250 quid, that was 2 hours training and the test but i had been towing illegally for 8 years oblivious to the law.
  2. Used cz brno all my life, just bought a cz silhouette, superb is all i can say, i can knock a gnats bollock off at 60 yards every time. Shoot every bit as accurate as any anshutz or sako you can buy.
  3. Since tightening the screws as suggested it seems fine, ive never touched these screws so can only presume they have loosened with recoil?
  4. Hi all, i have a howa 1500 in .243 with a synthetic thumbhole stock. I noticed this evening that it has become very loose in the stock ie the metal to wood fit is no longer very good, the gun is around 4 years old and has had a couple of hundred shells through it, anyone experienced anything similar on this or any other type of gun? The gun still shoots straight but it quite obviously isn't right, you can physically see the action moving in the wood, any suggestions?
  5. If you lived in kent you'd be more than welcome to do some pigeon/squirrel shooting on our farms in return for some graft with our syndicate, hedge laying, pen building, feeding etc etc. I know that doesn't help you a fat lot but perhaps find a local diy syndicate and offer your services especially if you sre handy with a chainsaw/ have a truck etc.
  6. Agreed, shoot on site just make sure theres no twitchers about. .243 with 58 grain hornady ballistics is their ideal breakfast!
  7. Dare i say it, ebay mate, put it on there for a fair length of time and wait for the green oval boys to get a stiffy.
  8. I'd rather cut my dick off than live in London, i get half way home from that shithole and i have to pull over and go roll in some mud and hug a tree, let the wogs and the poles have it, it's wrecked!
  9. Damn, looks like i've missed all the petty infighting and bad mouthed keyboard warrior bitching on this subject since i haven't been online. I gathered by the beginning few posts that certain persons were slagging off Bunwell Wood shoot. Well, i can honestly say that if you want a horrible reception, bad mannered personnel, inadequate accomodation and few deer in a truly horrible corner of the country then Bunwell Wood definately isn't the place for you.
  10. That bloody Jeremy Vine gives airtime to mongs who spout such nonsense as 'all those who own guns are psychotic and should be locked up' yet when i phone up to give my view they aren't taking anymore calls, typical!
  11. On our shoot we are all working men with such varied occupations as engineer (me), plumber, electrician, farmer, caravan repairer, fencing contractor, tree surgeon, carpenter, banker, estate agent. Hardly high tea and bum stroking at the big house is it? Yet, after all the swearing, piss taking and practical jokes of the work parties we all turn out in moleskins, breeks, flat caps, shirt and tie. It's a matter of respect and tradition, we've allowed most of our traditions to be eroded, not this though please!
  12. Any advice for a complete crayfish novice from kent? I am a member of several fishing clubs that control some stream fed ponds/estate lakes and sections of river medway, river beult and royal military canal, anyone know if theres any about before i give it a try?
  13. i'm a fan of the plastic although i have both. Plastic doesn't rust and most well stocked gun shops will stock them or you could order online. 5 and 10 shots readily available at my local dealer.
  14. I'm trying to join the forum but part of the registration is to enter the first and last number of a sequence, i've tried it every way i can; 2 8, 2,8, 2:8 2: 8 etc etc and it always comes up wrong, help!
  15. looks more like a p***y site than a farm, is that pony in a pen with a load of scrap double glazing and a car on bricks? What a shit hole. Talking of pikeys, Lurcher Boys?
