Any idea how much the Crufts best in show gets? A lot less than the lurcher championship at Chatsworth or the lurcher/terrier champion at the Midland Y.I.S Leeview

the KC is only a register,they dont breed any dogs they dont make breed standards the breed clubs do for each individual breed they do organise Crufts and other canine society's hold their own shows throughout the year where winning dogs qualify for Crufts (but these shows dont get highlighted the way Crufts does) Y.I.S Leeview

Sorry Maxhardcore but some of the blame has to be levelled at the organisers it started in September and the competitrors should of been made aware they had to be completed by the end of September in order to progress to the next round which should of been completed by the end of October and so on If it was nt completed they were out no ifs no buts run to deadlines plain and simple for all competitors not dragged on until the back end of the season once again.Y.I.S Leeview

This was the opening post, so from what I've seen replied these dogs were around about the time of the ban? I was looking forward to some older posts of dogs from way back that were doing foxes, coursing dogs Hoover,Laddie, of course Eve and Merlin all get mentioned regularly on this subject, but when did foxes become "the in thing" because I cant recall many lurchers taking them going back to the 60's you had either a rabbiting dog or a hare courser Y.I.S Leeview

i think once you tune the rules you'l have a better comp then LDR from reading other posts about the land that had been ran on in other comp especially for semi finals was poor you seem commited to make things work and right and thats what a comp for running dogs should be about. THE RUNNING OF THE DOG . like you said its early days so your not gonna be able to have all the answers straight away for people but give the bloke a chance he seems to be heading in the right dirrection. no offence ldr but i would never run in a comp if the person who was organising everything hasnt even got usable l

CORRECT if there is a guard dog on the premises there has to be a handler with it(UK Law) brought about over a child climbing over a wall to get a football back and getting mauled to death back in the 70's hence the reason those 2 acts were brought in Y.I.S Leeview
