  1. The One is right, up to a point. Most ferrets seem to like company, but just like humans, you get the occasional antisocial one. The reason for the difference between ferrets and their wild ancestors is that domestication tends to lead to the animal retaining some juvenile behavioural characteristics, in this case sociability.

    your names

Not changing mine. I'm 'droid' on all the forums I'm on. I'd be suspicious of someone who had a different username on every forum. I'd wonder what they had to hide.

It's 'whether' not 'wheather' in that context, artic..... As for dyslexia...I've met several people with genuine dyslexia, and it's a bit different to the way most 'dyslexics' post on here. Usually, you get the right letters, but not neccessarily in the right order, to paraphrase Eric Morecambe. I don't have a problem with genuinely poor spelling, as long as I can work out what the poster is trying to say. I do have a problem with lazy writing though. Hence my total support of the ban on text-speak.
  8. Got 5 in the house , but: 1) I'm not houseproud 2) They live in the back room with the door closed unless they're out. 3) They're all neutered, and don't smell any worse than I do.... You have to nail anything ferret-portable down though. I'm on my second phone cos the little buggers have nicked the Nokia, and third headlamp. Keep keys out of reach too..... And remotes, And wallets, etc etc
  9. It'd be worth it even if there were only half a dozen. It's always good to meet other anglers and talk bollocks and maybe learn summat.
  10. Good point Deker. Half my fishing rods have been bought on the principle of convincing myself I need them....
  11. I've got the opposite problem. Fair bit of hand swapping, bit awkward, but do-able.
  12. Sign up for our 24hr charity match if you want mate your more than welcome, but its not until September Be up for that. No drinking for me though....I'm enough of a liability on the bank when I'm sober....
  13. Aye mate. August in Patagonia You tell em Dave , how ya pal ? I'm fine, me bike isn't though...... How's the back mate? New Year's Resolution for me is to get to Penkridge....
  14. Moral: when looking at internet porn on the bog, use a laptop.....they don't fit down the pan
  15. Surely it depends whether the landowner wants the fox definitely eradicated, or given a chance? If the former, then it's a gun, if the latter a dog? I suppose this is dependent on whether you're doing a professional job, or indulging in 'sport'. If I had a fox (or a rabbit ot rat) problem I wouldn't want them 'given a chance' I'd want the buggers gone.
  16. If the price is right it'll sell. If it isn't it won't. That's the market for you.....
  17. Quite. If people let their need for macho boasting get the better of their common sense than it's down to them. The emot - - speaks volumes, doesn't it?
