  1. Just want to make sure that I am not trying to rip people of. Is £25 posted a fair price for 10 x 4ft handmade nets. All stitched to the rings and tapered at both ends. Strong rotproof material, heavy tangle free nets. As I say don't want to be asking a fortune for them. Thanks for any opinions.
  2. Good on you, I'm looking into more education myself, am nervous as hell and only 29. Never to late to better yourself.
  3. Thanks very much. That's very decent of you, and it's appreciated. Just hope I can pass test first time. Definately need to do something, pushing 30 and can see the top of the hill haha
  4. Was more along the lines of wasps, insects, rats etc for chemicals and that kind of stuff. Never thought about gun license. Pain in the arse need a permit for 12ftlb air rifle. More to ponder. Don't want to try a cowboy job at it. Do it properly and get a trade for life. That's the plan anyway haha Got some nets in for sale section if any one's interested? That's to pay for provisional license
  5. Thanks, but what else. Would I need to get back to england for courses? Don't want to just wait until tests is sorted before I can get on with things. Just can't find out anything anywhere.
  6. Also, if anyone wanted some new ones made up I would be happy to work something out with.
  7. As in previous posts have some purse nets for sale. 6 new 4ft, 4 new 3ft all tapered and stitched to ring 18 of my used nets between 3 and 4ft, some shaped some not. 2 stop nets. Was looking £65 posted now just want £50 plus postage. so 30 nets plus 2 stopnets £50 plus £5 post pic of nets
  8. It's first on the list. Should have took it 10 years ago when I'd paid for all the lessons haha Just can't seem to find what is needed for training and certificates etc Licensing for buying chemicals etc. Probably wouldn't be to hard to get driving then just advertise for rats etc and wasps constantly in summer, but want to do it right if I'm going to do anything.
  9. Don't know if I'm wasting my time here, but worth checking. I am having to get back into employment after a long lay off and wondered what I would need to do pest control in northern ireland. Really stumped as don't even have a driving license I have tried looking it up but can only find one, one day course and that doesn't even give a qualification. I know it would be hard work, but have to start again somewhere. There is only one company in this area too, so could be plenty of work if I can do it. Unless anyone is employing? Plenty of experience with exotic animals, and not bot
  10. Good job, bet your happy to be back out again.
  11. Was looking 25 posed for the 6 4ft and 4 3ft new ones. And around 65 for the whole lot. but if anyone was looking a lot of new ones done I could make them up.

  13. Would be lucky to get that in a season in some spots round here, good job.
  14. I'm not sure the exact name of the material, but it's like butchers twine. It's spun material too. It is very strong, doesn't tangle. Holds knots really well. I have left a peice out over winter to weather and it was just as strong as normal, only a little green haha I have a better close up of the material i could email you. There is 6 new 4ft nets 4 new 3ft nets, and I have about 18 used nets between 3 and 4 foot, have a couple of stopnets too. All new nets and some used are tapered at both ends, stitched to the ring with 10 meshes at ring, out to 18 and back in again to 10, stit

  21. Donkey is a goodun. How about tiny. Or abbo?
  22. I have for sale, 6x 4ft nets and 4x3ft nets. Never used. All are knitted onto the rings (1"). Nets are shaped at both ends, 10 stitches on the ring out to 18 stitches then back in to 10 at the ring. These nets are all hand made. They are a material akin to butchers twine, are tangle proof and handle the wet very well. I left a section of net in the garden for a full year in the elements, all it did was go green. Kept normally should last for years, if not a lifetime. Still as strong and all the knots held well, it is a great material and I have been using it for 2 seasons now. Will get
