I use plusnet and had no bother with them at all in 18months. Download speed good too, use broadband for pc, laptop and xbox and will run all 3 at once. Look up their website for prices etc.

Anyone genuine or decent selling any animal will give you as much information as they can, be it a dog or anything else. Also they will want to make sure the animal is heading to a good home, and talking and being friendly is the only way this will happen. If you are getting a hard time it suggests that the dogs future life isn't foremost in the sellers mind, also expecting you to take their word that the dog is from good stuff, without any information is a bit strange. Like selling a car with no history to it. On the other hand, proper dog men with good pups to sell could be inundated
  3. Chewing at the bit to get looking at it. Know the area and if I'm lucky it's a good spot. But it all leads to more ground so keep plugging away and enjoy myself. Ferrets be glad to get out again soon too.
  4. I'm around maghera area, don't drive so very localised at the moment. Not a great deal around me in walking area. Though the wee russell put the wind up a bunny in a field I can see from my front room today. How's the rabbit poulation down your way?
  5. At that age spend a lot of time playing with the pup, it bonds you. You'll find through playing you'll be training it without it being serious. Plus it's fun for yourself and you'll learn a lot about the dog. Hoping to get a new pup in before christmas and am looking forward to the playing stage. Nice pup too.
  6. Got the permission, wife's asthma playing up so have to wait for that to clear. Then i'll be up looking it over,
  7. Wouldn't mind having a go at making one someday
  8. If you section it off, you got a ferret box, net box and place for you flask. Not to heavy them boxes either, as said could be awkward through hedges. It's free though so give it a go and let us know how it goes.
  9. I got the basic model of these, no weights or sights. Is ok, prefer the black widow purely because it fits in my pocket and I need a bag for the diablo.
  10. Not certain of exact name, but sand lizard is a common name for it. Is the only british lizard too, i think so wouldn't be hard to find out. great pics and you got lucky spotting the lizard, last I knew of them there was only a few pockets of them.
  11. Is there any trainers/breeders owners from Northern Ireland on here?
  12. Is there any racing greyhound trainers or owners, from northern ireland on here?
  13. Been using butchers twine for my purse nets, great stuff if it's the same as your thinking of. Left a section of net out on top of ferrets cage through a whole year, summer and winter. Other than going green it is still just as strong, and all the nots held perfectly. Keep them dry and should last forever.
  14. Just in again, had the wifes collie out with her, spot on, pair worked great. Which I was surprised as the collie not done much, but chased a few bunnies. Impressed enough that she earned a spot on team haha. Only reason the terrier cross been on her own is my wee russell started to go to ground and I was advised to keep her off rabbits, so she's only been getting excersise on the school field and where there is no game. Until I know what she wants to work anyway. Happy enough to work the dogs in pairs, as there will be a lurcher added soon to lift whatevers flushed.
  15. It's a sore subject. Sorry to hear what has happened, and it just goes to to show that working dog owners have a better understanding of canines than pet owners. Personally I can't believe the stupidity if people getting dogs they obviously have no way of controlling, smaller dogs are just the same as a bigger dog mentally, but it's worse when rotties staffs and st bernards etc are left running loose with no control, by idiots who know nothing. And we would be cruel because we hunt rabbits etc, but other dogs is ok. On a funny note my old man had a parson type russell when i was a kid,
  16. Im coming up Aye, if I get sorted your more than welcome, it's another farm that borders the moss I was saying about, and apparently has a few good holding pockets around it.
  17. Has anyone else had any similar type of experiences like this? Dogs not working fully unless with another dog or pack?
  18. Been talking in passing to a bloke in the village shop and the owner said to him that I kept a couple of hens. Well it turns out he runs a local chicken farm. Met him again half hour ago and asked if he would be on for me ratting or after foxes, he said that someone keeps an eye on the foxes and he see's no rats. Ok I said, if you hear of any hunting, rabbits too let me know. Loads of rabbits up the farm he told me. Asked if he would be ok with me ferreting and he said he'd double check with boss, but can't see a problem. So hopefully got some new ground, and have a look for rats too. N
  19. Not on this laptop, but if you look on pg18 of the lurcher section, springer for lurcher theres a few snaps on there.
  20. I have a terrier springer cross that does a bit of bushing, mooching etc she has caught a few young rabbits from the long grass. This dog is smart enough, will retreve well any dummies set out for her, sit stay heel. I am just looking for advice or opinions here, this dog when on her own with me will spend most of her time at heel,I have to keep sending her on. She is selective at best when she enters cover, if she thinks there's nothing there then she won't bother. But will tear on if there's any scent. Now, if there is another dog in the field, she will hunt everywhere, it seems she
  21. Don't know if this helps, but worked for me with my first ferret, was mental. I had bites up and down my hands and wrists for weeks. Then I tried this, put a little milk into a jar lid or something wee and set it down for ferret to drink. When it does that, pour some into your cupped hand and let it dribk. Stroke it etc and it should come round quickly, worked for me and that ferret only bitten me once sine then, but that was me lifting her from a burrow in a hurry. This was a method I read somewhere that old ferreters used in old days. I personally don't like using gloves with animal
