DOG NOW SPOKEN FOR - 21 month old dog for sale. Dont know what lines are in him and dont particularly care. Mostly white with a patch over one eye and on his tail, broken coated. Spannable, about 13 inches tts. Bushes and eagerly goes to ground, has a good nose and likes to use it. Has started working but I am not selling him with trial or as a working dog, because in my opinion, he hasn't done enough to be called a working dog yet. Main reason for selling is quite simple really, I have three at the same age and stage, two I bred myself, and he and one of the two have taken a dislike to ea

On the old THL set up there was a "my assistant" button where you could check "my last 10 posts", and " Moderating team" etc, A question for Ian B, is it still on here somewhere and I cant see it, or if its not, could you put it back please as I found it very usefull to check for replies to your posts without having to get emails etc. Regards Bootsha

If you use an electric collar, dont use your voice when you zap the dog, it will assosiate then the shock with whatever it is visuall locked on to and nothing at all to do with you. This sounds simple enough, but imagine when your dog is out of your view, if it assosiates you with the zap it'll possibly think "That twat that zapped me isn't here anymore, lets have some fun", wheras if it doesnt assosiate you at all with it it should have the same effect in your view or not. When your charge comes running back to you after having the fright of its life, and you pretending to know bugger all abo

Cutting my hedge last wednesday, had my lurcher pup out with me in the garden as usuall, everytime I am out. Noticed Thursday night she hadn't eaten all her food, but alright in herself, hadn't seen her sick or anything. Friday hadn't eaten her food, Saturday morning I was going to take her down to the vets just to have a look at her, got up at 7.30 Sat morning to take her, she's lying on her bed of shredded paper full her length , dead. I was / am absolutely gutted, had waited a long time for this breeding, and was very lucky to have had the chance of her. Kids devastated as you'

Got a HONDA 350 TRX 1992 (GLF & RAF), worked hard for a living, used annually for pulling christmas trees out as well, a set of back wheels on the front instead of the standard narrow style ones , takes a bit of hanging on to when you want to corner, but as I'm off road all the time not a problem, tank under the seat it's that old, but f@ck me wont it pull....., could probably do with some new shocks front and back as my fillings come loose on rough ground, but with those big wheels front and back you dont get stuck. Honda everytime. (even if your a mod !!) B

YOU are exactly what fieldsports are all about friend, your desire and passion for what you are doing is obvious, you are lucky to have a dad that has "been around the block" a few times ( i'm sure he wont mind that comment, us of the same age group are in a similar position), stick to it, get your young bird and pour all you have learned with Stella into this new bird. She can never and will never be Stella, but you can mould her the same you moulded Stella, and you will only improve with time and as your experience grows. People like you are the future of ALL fieldsports, even though it's e

He was a clever dog Got two young dogs here at the moment, home bred for home use. The father was a nuttall terrier, a very good working one, he had Miner on both sides, my two young uns seem to be a bit timid in their nature, I know the mothers line are absolutely not as I have had that line now for about 20 years. Just wondering if there is some of that on the Miner lines, just out of interest that is, not that it affects their working abillity, my two certainly arent for sale, at any price. B

I'll give you all some feedback, these sticks are shit hot, superb quality materials and more to the point, superb quality workmanship, a pleasure to deal with. On the minus side, it took me nearly an hour to unwrap the bloody thing lol , only kidding Ian. Honestly, I defy ANYONE not be totally delighted with these sticks. Not a bullshit feedback, just my honest opinion, if I thought they were crap, you'd have that as well Best of luck Ian Cheers Bootsha
