    I agree, best game of rugby so far in the tournament, even without the try's.     I think this is an interesting topic, (very rare on thl these days ), and as you rightly say, there's theories and then some more opinion, but to be perfectly honest, and this is just my opinion, If scent was a predictable thing, half the fun of hunting would be out the window. If there was a book to be had , a guaranteed solution to all questions regarding scent and was 100% guaranteed proven to be factually correct, i'd rather leave it on the shelf to gather dust, and get out there and see what happens when you loose the hounds out the back of the box, you;ll soon find out what the scent

    Get that person / thing in your avatar to walk around the loft twice a day, that ought to keep any non humans away from the loft. The only other option is thoroughly illegal, hit or miss, but an extremely effective solution, your problem will either explode in a puff of feathers or will fly away.lol. Only kidding,its just nature i suppose mate, they were here first and they need to eat, cold comfort i know, but true never the less. Sorry i couldnt give you any better advice. B

    Its a real shitter when b.o.p's start on your team, and theres not a great deal you can do about it , obviously dont use an open door system. But the routine with your birds that works ( or did used to for me) i.e, out exactly the same time morning and evening, exact same routine, will obviously be picked up on by a b.o.p, if you move your times around it could have an effect on your team. I did know of a chap who was having trouble at one time and he just shut up the loft and let nothing out for a week or two, that seemed to make them go elsewhere for food, but they'll probably come back.

    You know mate, i know f**k all about photography, but the only thing i would say is that on the last two, the contrast between below the skyline and above it is too great, the subject and type of place is very good for the format, is there a type of filter you could use to blend the above and below skylne in a bit ?? Otherwise i like them. I always used to prefer black and white / non colour to colour when i used to get the old Kodak Retina Reflex out, man thats going back some years that is. Best of luck mate. B

    mate's partner had a dalmatian years ago ( when the film came out, kid just had to have one ) took it foxing, pre ban of course, just to get it out of the house, turned out a very good dog around a bury, draw and all sorts, sweet as a nut. Given the opportunity, a lot if not most dogs will work, to varying levels of quality fair enough, but they will have a go.

    Hello and welcome mate, you'll find that being a racing pigeon man you may find experience comes in handy with fitness / conditioning your lurcher when the time comes. A lot of good dog men have come from the racing pigeon background. I used to race pigeons myself years ago, but my dogs are shite , so it doesn't always work lol Enjoy the site mate

    get your thick leather gloves on, pull the buggers up by the roots, chances are theres been farmyard manure put on the raised beds at some point as sure as eggs is eggs, when yer puts shit on yer plot, yer gets lots of nettles.

    Try him with a tin of tuna mate, drain all the liquid off it and offer him a small ammount, even sick dogs will eat that, if he eats the small ammount, mix the rest of it in with his normal food, that ought to get the ball rolling for you and him. Hope it helps B
