once i was ratting with my old jrt ,on a river bank side, he was going mad marking a hole i pulled him back to use spade and a kingfisher flew out .

my dad used to have one years ago it was a bit timid but very fast,good nose,a good rabbitig dog , he bread it with a salukixgrey and produced a litter which i got my first lurcher .
