Well done. I'm fairly new to the whole running dog thing and have recently bought a bonnie wee Whippet. How does the dogs cope with such a hard nights work? its knackering to be honest as its a long hard night ,the weather can take it out of them too. also knackering for us carrying the rabbits lol..

thanks martin, got good chance as sire dam are very good dogs, and this is a good x for most quarry. you getting ready for the season now .? hope you + dogs are ok all good cheers Ray , yes getting ready now,,thank feck its getting cooler.

Jim and myself went up the dales thursday night for a shine i took my pup Meg 14mths and Jim took Snipe,the conditions were near perfect for the job and alltho it did get a little wet towards the end it was a very enjoyable .The dogs had some great runs and it was great to be out ,, felt like winter To watch Snipe run, if you didnt know you would never say he is nearly 12yrs old ! he put 32 in the bag . Meg managed 41 altogether making the total 73 leaving me with alot of skinning and meat mincing to do .

Thats not what i ask'ed . He would of been judging a show for me if we wouldn't of had to cancel due to weather! The Judge IS one of the good fellas and a very good dog man,hes never been a coursing man so that statement is a bit of a joke! what i will say tho is ,,before the ban he worked dogs of all breeds for many years. These days as we all know its just rats and rabbits .. At a show you pay your pound for a judges opinion hoping you might get rosette, if you don`t agree with the decision its not the end of the world,, after all its a bit of fun and time for like minded peo

i know the Judge and the only reason he would of answered his phone in between judging the classes would be something to do with his son.
