  2. Nothing wrong with how they work just finding the wright type that suits you is the hard part they are a bit up and down in size and scouring earth working stock is hard to come by as in general most are shared out or snapped up before matings take place there's a good thread on here called working bedlingtons 2005 by Swansea jack take a look some nice type dogs on there atb rt

  5. if mooching is what your into then you want a mooching type dog to cover her a half cross beddei grayhound or beddei cross coursing type whippit would add nose and feet to the mix this cross will work in the cover aswell as around it . but what ever you put to the bitch make sure its got a good nose mooching type dogs are no diffarent to a terriers they are no good if they cant fined the quarry .

  8. don't take the dog straight to a clay shoot . stop a mile or so away and walk in the direction that the shots are coming from till the dog gets abit on edge fined a marker a tree, rock, sign ect so that you can see the progress in the trainning . go back 100yds past the marker give the dog is toy to play with or rabbit something like that then make your way back to the marker and once past it make a note just keep doing this over and over . but don't just tie the dog up at a clay club its not fair to the dog and the more you put in to a dog the more you get out . hope this helps all the best rus

  22. hi pal could try takin him ferretin bolt the rabbit and let him chase them . or leave one live in a cage trap for him so he will get rev'd up then give him a dead one to have a shake off try that a few times so he will relate the scent with the rabbit then he nows what he's huntin . all the best with him hope he turns out well for you
  23. stej dnt leave this lot get to you .You now what you saw and thats that have a look on south wales big cats and have a read there was a fella a few years back out lamping with his whippet lurcher at llandilo west wales he slipped his dog on a rabbit as the dog was running it up the side of the fence this cat hit the dog from the side slashed up the backend of the dog ripped its sholder out of its socket and its throte and when he reported it to the police thay got the RSPCA involved and thay said that the damage to the dog was from badger bating and it was hush hush after that
  24. i would think about the tipe of terrain it will be used on first . if theres alot of cover about or the berreis or close to each other then a small type beddixwhippet would suit you better for short fast sprints . or if the berreis are in the edgerows with open fields or in the fields them selfs then a beddixwhippetxgrayhound may be better for you it would have a bit more stamina for longer dashes . hope it helps

    Big Cats

hi all im from south wales and i and to mates saw a black cat abit bigger than a fox . So one of the lads contacted the enviroment agence wales and explained what we saw and he was told that we were not the only ones to of sited it and went on to say that over some 20 lamb and 6/8 sheep had been reported missing and a few cacasses found one of which was half way up a tree and that was reported by a forestry commition worker so thay are out there in what numbers no one nows . TRY AND GOOGLE SOUTH WALES BIG CATS AND HAVE A READ .
