The truth is lads coco isnt a 3/4 bred beddy fell she was bred by Mike Evan and Mike on more than one occassion used dogs with no history/un known breeding on both sides the bedlington and the fell but everything he bred from worked in the ground other than one dog and that dog worked fox week in week out flushing drawing and dispaching foxes in cover before the ban came in . 6. Northern lad i see what your saying and to me and afew lads i know when we say bedlington infact we mean type a dog that resembles a old type bedlington a dog that can and will get and carrys outcross blood of one type or another (fell, lakeland, border or x bred) The bedlington originely was a type of dog bred in a posific area for a perpose by people that didnt really care about looks aslong as the could work and get the job done in very harsh country/terrain at the end of the day farmers are no different today if they got a lamb killer in then the rocks/ground they dont care what the dog loo

One thing iv notice is the bedlington type terrier is

  25. I'v done alot of ratting with ferrets biggest problem we had was we didn't have enuff ferrets and we were working about six on a days ratting but they would get knocked up we've had some really bad dying afew days later some wouldn't go to rats after afew bad does at them even dug one out dead season before last that's the only dead one iv had but iv dug plenty of dead rats out with a ferret in front of them . Go on utube search bedlington 2005 some good ratting clips using both ferret and smokers you'll see rats that are cornered and the can dish it out when needed atb rt
