  1. Well done mate i had my first mole about a month back,it feels good don't it
  2. Looks like a summers day in them pics . Nice bag and £33 can't be bad
  3. Hi mate, you don't need the string on the snare when you set them on fences, just tie the snare straight onto the fence. You have done right by cutting the wire to make the catch area bigger. Have you wrapped the snare around the fence to hold it in postion?.Just use the brass wire as a snare and it will hold it self up. I am no pro just what i learnt from going up north to woodga's.Somebody on here will put you right.
  4. I think your right there . Don't worry i will be up soon with YOUR dog,are you counting the days so you can stock pile the teabags .

  6. Well saturday i was ripping our fireplace out, which looked to be a all day job,i thought i would get up early and have a wonder with a ferret and a few nets, traveling light and just seeing whats about.Got up to the farm and it was freezing there was a biting wind, the ground was frozen solid,so i thought i would stick to the smaller setts. Walked past the bales barn and a fox was asleep inside on the bales,by the time i got the camera out he was gone.Onto the first sett, just stuck the stop nets down and put the ferret in,then stood waiting about 10mins past and i was starting to get cold, sudde

  15. Farmer asked me if i could sort some moles out for him,i had some traps in the shed which i have only used once with no sucess,so i gave it a go.Didn't have a clue where to start so i rang woodga who gave me some good advice. Thanks mate. I arrived at the field which had winter wheat growing in it,set to work with my probe to locate the tunnels, once found, i was using scissor traps so i put some soil in the ring, then got my L-shaped stick and flatted the tube down so it was smooth, then set the trap, and covered up.I set ten all together.Went to check saturday morning and i had one A few pics.
  16. O i am in a postion to make a comparison. I may have worded that wrong BUT we do every part for every car including jap cars,we don;t always have them in stock but we can get them the same day or the next morning and i don't sit in a warm office .And the kerbside mechanics are still good custermers because even full time mechanics need the tools to do the job,and they are in the garage half the time not at the side off the road so they improvise and OK agrea to differ was in the motor trade for 35 years never found a factor that was as good as yours me thinks you exaggerate a wee bit.bye by
  17. Well done lads great post and pics, all the best for the future on your ermmmmmmmm legal permission
  18. Well done john,i had a first attempt at mole trapping this week not had any sucess yet,but i will carry on
  19. Thanks for that advice mate i wondered what i was doing wrong If we had set them your way 4 fingers high and not 6 1/2 inches high we would have caught more then this. Seriously mate read the pinned section at top and ask questions on here.I used to set mine how you are till i was shown the proper way as practiced by a few people on here.
  20. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR FIRST QUOTE YOU STATE YOU SELL MORE PARTS FOR LANDYS THAN JAPS I SAY AS YOU CANNOT SUPPLY JAP PARTS YOU ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO MAKE A COMPARISON AS FOR (kerbside machanics most are full time machanics having to do work on the side to boost thier income so you and your fellow workers in a nice warm office shoud'nt throw stones at people having to get dirty for a living and how many jap 4x4 s can be fixed at the kerbside.) O i am in a postion to make a comparison. I may have worded that wrong BUT we do every part for every car including jap cars,we don;t always h
  21. You will need all them targets if you try to zero your gun with them shite pellets
  22. MR T POT you know that motor factors can't supply many parts for jap 4x4 and the landy stuff is cheap.Lads who know a bit about motors can keep their landys on the road themselfs .Having said that i have used both and repaird all types at the end of the day it's persanel joice but formost it comes down to what you nead your 4x4 for.OFF ROAD /MOTORWAY/ TOWING/GOODS/POSEING,OR A MIX AND MATCH.For the record i use a 90 T5 and it does the job for me. We have no need to supply jap parts anyway there is no call for them, unlike landys . And the lads who so called know a BIT about motors(ke
