    But in some areas there are that many hares they are a pest as there is a ban on hunting with dogs,what other way can you cull them?shooting,snaring or netting

    Same old sh1te, somebody shoots a hare and somebody starts crying...if its on your permish and the land owner lets you shoot them,then go ahead and shoot them. If its because its the breeding season and they could have young,do you think like that when you shoot a rabbit,pigeon,rat or squirral because the have young as well. Or is because the ONLY way to kill a hare is with a lurcher,well theres a ban so what other way do you cull hares?

    @WOODGA .These armchair hunters make me laugh ANOTHER ONE BITE THE DUST. Going to rest it for a couple of days,as the rats are getting a bit skitty.

    i will try and find out at some point how much postage would be for a small package and try and send you a few snares and tealers but im snowed under atm but im 17 and i know how much the generousity of people on this site has helped me to get started and i am hooked now and keep up with the nagging about the air rifle. £2.20 1st class for 20 snares even less for 3-4 .

    Did not see any rats at all tonight,but 2 woodies dropped in for a late evening snack. A maggie came in as well but i was answering a call of nature and it saw me and was gone . Just as it was getting dark who should hop in but a couple of hares and started feeding on the wheat never know them to do that before.

    The AAS410 strikes again One of the hardest airgun quarry to bring to the bag,and the AAS410 does the bizz mind you it does help when you have 2 tons of wheat as bait .

    Out for a couple of hours last night after the rats again.Shot 3 and caught 1 in the bodygrips this morning. Only got pics of 2 rats shot as 1 fell down inbetween two walls and it was dark and there was no way i was putting my hand down there,not with rats running about :sick: . RAT THAT WAS CAUGHT IN BODYGRIP. THE TWO THAT WAS SHOT,THEY WAS BIG FAT ONES,MY BOOT IS A SIZE 8. FAT LITTLE BUGGER,IT JUST WODDLED OUT TO FEED IT WAS THAT FAT PIC DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE.     Went up to RHODEYS to snare a grass field on what must have been the hottest day of the year.A few rabbits ran of the field has we arrived,so i thought we would be in for a good catch.So set the snares and off home for a bite to eat before we went out with the airifles after a few rats. A FEW PICS OF THE GROUND WE SNARED.
