    I am glad you asked that,i have a reason for putting up another pic of him. He as settled in well and i am bonding with him,i have got him jumping better,he was jumping a bit before but was scrabbling over some fences not jumping them.He has chased 1 rabbit which he did not see till it was about 100yds away,but he has got some bloody speed . I am breaking him to stock as well he is fine with cows,but a bit dubious around sheep,so a bit more training and he will be fine. Thanks for the replies folks.

    Went up to my new permission on saturday,there was a thick fog and it was cold. Took my dad up who fancied a morning out and my new lurcher pup who was just along to watch. Arrived at the fields,i had a walk down the hedge to look at the warrens and they was looking used.So back to get the gear and have a cup of tea.Netted up the first warren and put the ferrets in,a rabbit bolted within seconds in to a purse net.The ferrets went through the warren and showed,so we moved on to the next one,as we was netting up a rabbit got up out the rape and ran to a little set where we was having a cup of

    I took my new lurcher out for a walk yesterday,i was walking down by the side of a hedge,i looked up and there was a landrover coming up the field,so i ran up to the footpath(i wondered off it a bit ).Saw a bloke get out and he shouts "oi,come here ",i thought feck me here we go. He was asking about the dog how its bred and all that then he hit me with it. He said "can that dog of yours catch rabbits"i said he will do,but he is only young at the mo,so we carried on taking and i said "have you got a problem with rabbits"he said "yes all along that hedge there".So i said i can help you sort t

    Your dog and your copy of edrd .You have not got time to read it you should be out catching rabbits . I am taking him out saturday,to a place where there is sheep so i will let you know how he is(on the lead before anyone jumps on me ),there is a few fences there as well,so i will get him jumping.     Well as mentioned in a previous thread,i travelled up to woodga's to pick up my first lurcher. He is a fantastic dog,quiet in the house and kennal,just spending time with him bonding and a some training.Took for a big run yesterday on the fields,boy can he shift . Thanks again to woodga and longdogrunner Me and my dad with the new dog and woodga's dog,lucy who my dad wanted to take home with him Sorry about the small pics,i don't know what happened.
