  1. I see nothing wrong with .308 for deer/fox. With the right bullets, excellent all rounder. Chap..each to their own, and I feel you have an interesting choice of words....excellent all rounder is not quite how I would describe the .308!! ATB!! The .308, a calibre that shoots bullets from 100grain to over 200, easy to reload not fussy, can be used on targets up to 1000yrds and be accurate. Used by military and police marksmen and snipers around the world. With correct loading and bullet can take vermin (fox) I don't buy into the overkill judgement,muntie right t

  9. Clive, I have the SS Varmint, Laminate 75 in .308. You'll not be disappointed in this rifle. Just waiting to get mine back from the proof house, been threaded for an Ase mod. ATB, PV.

  14. The Lee Classic is a good inexpensive press, with it's 'O' shape design it's strong with no flex, used with benchrest dies (Redding, Forster) which hold brass co-ax to the bullet, loading accurate rounds is easily achievable. PV.
  15. You need a forming die to neck down and alter the shoulder angle.
